Just a Note

 

FF22MiamiKel4 - A warm cuppa! Something warm/mug. This is for the Fallidays challenges on splitcoaststampers.com.

USEIT2022 - Image & Bow

I needed to use up this image from my stack of images I am had sitting on my desk and it is perfect for the challenge. I colored it with copics then cut out the layers and popped the image on dimensionals.

I finished the card with a few scattered pearls and the bow also from my tote.

SC934 - Today's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card I used a penguin die cut and cut out all the pieces and layered them. I then cut the designer papers to finish the sketch and added a dimensional snowflake.

I created this Santa using the Tim Holtz layered Santa die cut and many scraps. Once all cut I layered the pieces then cut the tree and red designer paper to layer on the card base.

For my card I used a bunch of already punched out scrap papers from my scrap drawer and popped them up on dimensionals.

I finished the card with this sentiment stamped in blue and added several scattered gems.

USEIT2022 - Image

This image was in my tote of items to use up and I am working to build my stash of cards for my donation. It had the perfect colors in it for the challenge inspiration.

I fussy cut the tie, cut down the papers and stamped the sentiment right on the image.

Merry Christmas to All

 

I have a few Christmas cards to share today.

CAS718 - Around the World

For my card I used the new globe image from DRS Designs and colored it up with copics adding the sentiment under it. I then die cut the image and die cut the Santa and reindeer.

My second Christmas card:

FF22stampmomma - White Christmas - create a predominantly white Christmas card - accent colors should be very minimal. This is for the Fallidays challenges on splitcoaststampers.com.

I due cut the snowflake background then layered on a white card base.

Next I die cut the ice skate in white then looped white ribbon for the lace.

I then die cut the snowflake a few times and finished the top layer of it with white glitter paper and also added white glitter paper to the blade on the ice skate.

I finished the card with the sentiment label.


My final card today...
UnderstandblueA - Put a Bird on it.

I used a very old Stampin Up set and stamped the snowman and tree and colored the scene with pencils.

I then layered it on red card stock and stamped the sentiment in red and layered that on green card stock.

Rather than using an owl I used a dog and paper pieced him together. I added a couple of additional layers to the oval and added a banner rather than the candy cane.

Masculine Birthday

 

WT924 - Foil. Foiling techniques, aluminum foil (good embossed and colored with alcohol inks) foil tapes (tape art tutorial), even die-cutting from foil trays. Gilding flakes ok.

USEIT2022 - Brads

I was going through my tote and came across these brads and thought some die cut tools would be perfect paired with them.

I used aluminum foil on the tools then stamped the sentiment and layered the card adding the brads once all the layers were glued together.

Mothers Day

I am working ahead of schedule to get some Mother's Day cards made. For my card I used one of my Heartfelt Creations sets and stamped the flowers and leaves and colored the images with copics. Once colored I die cut them and layered on a sponged circle weaving the ribbon across the panel.

I finished the card with the sentiment and a few die cut butterflies.

Tulips

 

MMTPT748 - Stencils

I love this stencil from Unity. I made a stack of cards with this so I could add a few to my stash with a few sentiments.

For the card I sponged two different greens for the leaves and purple for the tulips. Next, the top layer of the tulips I used Nuvo Mousse to add interest and texture.

I then finished the cards with sentiment strips and added a few green sequins.

Ugly Sweater

 

It's that time of year. Time to start seeing Ugly Sweaters. I actually love seeing them. It really gives the wearer a bit of freedom to have fun with their wardrobe.

CAS717 - Ugly Sweaters

For my card I stamped the sweater from DRS Designs then I used the gingerbread man and stamped him all over the sweater. I then colored it with copics and fussy cut it.

I added some coordinating die cut circles and stamped the sentiment.

I finished the card with popping the sweater on dimensionals and added some clear Nuvo Drops to the buttons on the gingerbread men and added some red gems to mirror the shine on the gingerbread men in the sweater.

FS824 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Sarah, is better known around here as joejaykandi. She has tons of wonderful inspiration. I found this INSPIRATION.

I love the way she featured just a sentiment and it made me think of this sentiment.

I die cut the layers and pieced them together on a white card stock then die cut the frame.

Once all glued, I added the sentiment to a dimensional and added a gem.

My inspiration reminded me of this image in my stack of images I am trying to get colored up and used. I colored the image with copics then dug through my paper scraps to layer the card and finished the card with this button.

Several Birthday Cards

 

DEC22VSNMINI3 - In The Pink! - 3 shades of pink

USEIT2022 - Brads and Image

For my card I used this cute little image from my stack of images I am trying to get colored and used. I colored her up with a few shades of pinks to get the depth in the pink bows and the shirt.

I layered on a designer paper that also has a couple of pinks and added a couple of heart brads from my tote.

The card was finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

For my second card I used up this cute image and colored it with copics. I then layered on Kraft card stock and found a bubble stamp that I added the bubbles and sentiment and bubbles in white.

For my final card I found this cute image and colored her up with copics. I also thought the large flower in the image looked like this large ribbon flower that was in my tote so I added that to get it out of the tote.

The card was finished with the sentiment banner popped up on dimensionals.

WT923 - Use dimension, pop something up (layered sentiment/image or foam tape)

For my card I die cut the pieces for the swinging gnome from Spellbinders and layered. The bow is layered on dimensionals and then in the center there is a hole for the ornament to loop over. One great thing about these cute die cuts is you can use up tons of scraps to create it too.

The little gnome and sentiment swing. It is super cute and fun to play with.

I am working ahead for my pet donation cards. For my card I die cut this cute puppy and die cut the layers behind him. I then layered on the paw print paper and heat embossed the sentiment.

For my card I just received these cut scene images from my friend Ann - annsforte3 and thought they were perfect for this week's Teapot Tuesday recipient. Thank you, Ann.

I added some white sponging to the top layer and popped it on dimensionals and layered both cuts on a textured blue card base finishing the scene with the sentiment.

I Will Drink the Red

I can totally relate to this new sentiment from DRS Designs. LOL!

For my card I stamped the sentiment on white card stock in red. Next, I die cut the Champaign glasses using glitter paper for the white and red wine.

I then layered and finished with a couple of punched stars out of the red glitter paper.

For my card I used a die cut the cut the pieces of this sweet deer and layered him once cut. I finished the eyes with a white gel pen.

For the card base I dug through my paper scraps and added several to the base.

I finished the card with the sentiment and a few green gems.

MIX511 - Contentment (For me I had to have this Heartfelt Creations set when it came out)

F4A664 - Peace (For me any time I can get in my craft room is peaceful. I love playing with my Heartfelt Creations sets and use them as an incentive when I have completed some of my crafty chores. (yes I have a crafty chores list - LOL))

For my card I stamped the peacock and colored him with copics. I used some already stamped flowers and leaves from a bin I have with Heartfelt Creations flowers and leaves.

The papers were cut and layered and the flowers and leaves were shaped and layered. I finished the image, and flowers off with stickles and added prills to the center of the flowers.

While I was going through my paper scrap drawer, I found this tan scrap already crimped and thought it was perfect for the challenge. 

This was very quick. I cut the layers. die cut the cute little birds and added sponging to the bird layers. I added a sentiment and finished with the bow.

CAS715 - Spots (I have spots in the image and spots from the die cuts)

I love this new thankful stamp from DRS Designs. This is a great sentiment to send to anyone. I decided to create a fall themed card. I stamped the leaf and acorn image and colored it with copics. Once colored, I fussy cut the image.

I then stamped the sentiment and die cut the sentiment and gold framing popping the sentiment up on dimensionals and finishing it with the leaf image.

For my card base I sponged blue distress oxide ink to create the clouds then stamped the sentiment with memento ink.

I die cut the flowers, leaves, birds and bird house out of scrap paper and found some water-colored paper in green for some of the leaves.

A few of the leaves and the blue bird were popped up on dimensionals and the flowers were finished with some gems.

I used the Be Bold flowers from Spellbinders and cut them out of blue and teal. The leaves were cut out of some scrap watercolor paper that was colored green.

Once the pieces were cut, I assembled the flowers and added the birthday sentiment on an embossed light blue layer.

For my card I cut the window, layered on the merlot paper and layered on DP.

Next, I stamped and shaped the flowers and leaves and layered on the window die cut.
