 WT685 - Australian friends

I have loved this image from the moment I saw our fellow SCS friend Susie Australia posted it in her gallery. Last fall I was shopping in a mom and pop stamp store and they had this image and I was not leaving that store without her. Miss Susie you are an enabler. Much love friend!

Stamped the amazing ballerina and colored her with copics. Sponged on 2 pinks for the BG and a dark grey around the edge. Finished off the dress with some gold gel pen.

FS586 - Today's Featured Stamper is Donna (donnaks). I found this amazing Card. It looked like it was a great quilted BG.

I grabbed this quilt die cut and cut 3 different DPs and changed them around with each other to create three cards. Layered on coordinating CS and finished off with a birthday sentiment and punched flowers and leaves sitting on my desk.

Week of April 21st cards

MMTPT508 - Let's Get the Show on the Road

This wonderful vintage image was sent to me about 3 years ago in a teapot card exchange. She was in my pile of goodies I am trying to use up. Used a piece of the wall paper from my stash and some DP, layered on pink CS and added some punched lace. Finished off with the sentiment, some flowers and nuvo drops.

WT684 - Bug's Life

Stamped this darling Penny Black image who looks just like my great baby niece and colored with copics. Used this butterfly sticker and added glitter behind the wings and then colored it with copics.

Finished off with some fun DPs from my stash and popped the image and sentiment on dimensionals.

IC646 - Where we are headed to The Smithsonian Institution for amazing inspiration where I found This Amazing Textile.

I loved the colors and found some paper in my stash that looked similar in colors. Layered and framed the sentiment and finished off with the lace flowers and pearls from my stash.

Week of April 14th Cards

FS583 - Beth (lizzier) she had this wonderful CARD.
I don't have that die cut but when I saw it I thought it could be used for a wreath for a Christmas card. Used some already cut wreath pieces on my desk and added a few punches twigs from a Martha Stewart punch to add more to the wreath layers. Added this bow that was already punched on my desk and a gem. Finished off with some ribbon, sentiment and the punched edge.

MMTPT507 - Show your Love
This House Mouse image was sent to me in a Teapot exchange. I just had to use this for a Mother's Day card for my sister. Here is the story...
When I was little my sister had her bestie come over and they use to go to her room and close the door and have a great time doing who knows what. Well I decided to hide in her spare closet one time so I could see what they were doing in her room. They were bouncing on the bed. They were in that room so long that I had to go to the bathroom. So I kept peeking out and one of my fingers was seen. The girls freaked out and ran out of the room. Perfect, I ran out and went to the bathroom. I got done and came out and everyone was in the room looking in the closet. Well no one was in the closet and it could not be me I was in the bathroom. So my little sister got blamed. One might think that was the end of the story...not! My sister and her bestie decided to put a blanket over my little sister and tickle her. Can you believe she fell asleep. They thought they killed her. I am telling you to this day we get together and still laugh about that day. So when I saw this image of the bouncing bunnies I just had to use this for my sister's Mother's day card this year.
Colored with copics, added the banner and finished off with the ribbon and flowers.

 WT683 - Put a Crimp in It
This wonderful image was sent to me in a teapot exchange. Colored her with copics and die cut in the oval. Left the image in the oval and sponged on blue. Grabbed some cardboard off my desk and tore off the front and back and stretched it out a bit and mounted. finished off with the tag, ribbon and Dew Drops for a fun retirement card.
Thanks ladies for the name of the stamp.

IC645 - is an amazing site called Cuddle + Kind Dolls where I found these great DOLLS. I liked the bright cheery colors and thought if this last Green Duck embellishment I have from their Easter collection. I am trying to use stuff up on my desk and this inspiration was perfect.
I did several layers of die cut white hills and tucked the embellishment behind one of the layers. Then I sponged on some yellow distress ink in the BG to create some added interest and finished off with the Happy Easter Sentiment getting a start on next years cards.

Week of 4/7/18 Cards

FS582 the stunning gallery of Jayne {aka Ozpom} where I found this Card.

CCC18DEC - anything goes

SCSCCAPR18 -

Love the awesome tree she used. I don't have that tree but I have this die cut in my stash to use up. Made a couple quick cards as I am way behind in Christmas cards for what I need to do this year.

Layered the tree on craft CS and then embossed snow and finished off with the sentiment on dimensionals.

MMTPT506 - Show Me Your Super Hero Colors

Used my cricut and cut the Superman logo and layered yellow under it. Embossed the blue layer and popped the logo on dimensionals.

WT682 - that's a quote

My niece and nephew just bought their first house and I made this card for them. Used a bunch of scraps to create this fun scene. Embossed the bottom layer. Due cut all the pther pieces. Fussy cut the grass and doodled around many of the pieces.

IC644 - Carlyle Avenue where I found these BOWLS.

The striking stripes and dog bones reminded me I needed to get another set of pet sympathy cards made for my donation.

I grabbed this left over stripped paper and cut it down to use on a few cards so I could make more than one. Die cut the frames and layers and stamped the sentiments. Finished off with some punched hearts that were sitting on my table waiting to be used.

Forever Loved
