This is Not a Card...

FS899 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Jennifer aka jenn47. Oh my goodness I am blown away at her fantastic gallery. Here is my INSPIRATION.

APR24VSNG - If it ain't broke, don't fix it

I also made a Mother's Day card. For the outside, I used the Creek Bank Creations Happy Flappy Card Base die rather than an oval. It creates a flap that opens on the front of the card.

The sunflowers is a stencil from The Ton and once the flowers were stenciled, I added stickles to them.

On the inside of the flap, the sentiment says it is a Hug when you pull the tab. I really love this pull tab and plan to make a few more cards with it.

Cardinal Graduation

IC960 - Daily Paintworks & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

F4A740 - Chirp! Chirp! (This is actually what the school says to graduates) :)

USEIT2024 - Tassel

I have to say I am very last minute making this card. My son's girlfriend graduates next week, and he asked for a cardinal pop-up card.

I used several Karen Burniston die cuts to create the pop-up cardinal and used a Spellbinders die cut to add the wings.

The graduation cap paper was a stencil used on red paper and I finished with the Spellbinders congratulations die cut out of gold mirror paper.

The card was finished with the closure and some red and white bakers' twine and I found the tassel in my tote of items to use up.

Here is a picture of the cardinal closed.

Birthday Pocket Card

WT998 - Pocket Cards

For my card, I created this pocket fold using some SU DSP. I added the insert and some twine so it could easily pull out of the pocket fold card.

The card was finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals

It was tough to get a good picture of this card as I had to lay it down in my photo box.

With Sympathy

SC1007 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used some paper from my stash and die cut several of the layers adding dimensionals to the hearts. I then used a bunch of the flowers that I punch out of my scraps to add to the card and finished with Nuvo Drops.

Universal Cancer Ribbon

MMTPT822 - Thinking of You, Birthday, Cancer

For my card, I embossed the white layer, die cut 2 lace layers and crimped them.

Next, I stamped the ribbon from DRS Designs and colored in purples then fussy cut the ribbon.

I die cut the labels and popped the ribbon up on dimensionals finishing it with a heart.

The card was finished with a purple ribbon.

Special Place in My Heart

CAS791 - Pet Sympathy

APR24VSNF - Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

For my card, I used this great dog stencil that I ordered from a cake decorating company. I used a rainbow of Distress Oxide colors to color the stencil then stamped this great sentiment from DRS Designs.

I finished the card with a few scattered hearts.

YOU

FS895 - This week's incredibly talented featured stamper Kathy, is better known around here as jkelliot. I found this INSPIRATION.

Rather than the large U, I die cut the large YOU letters from spellbinders and used some green and blue floss that I am trying to use up from my craft table.

I then die cut the green shadow layer and popped the letters up on dimensionals.

The sentiment is heat embossed and I finished with several flowers from my stash and Nuvo Drops.
