Are You Cured

CAS787 - Sentiment Strip

For my card, I needed a get-well card and this image from DRS Designs is just perfect. I colored it up with copics and cut down the layers. I then added the Are You Cured Yet sentiment.

I loved the blanked in the image and had this great emboss folder that reminds me of a comfortable quilt.

The card was finished with a few scattered buttons that I have had in my stash for a large number of years.

Thinking of You

FS894 - This week, we're thrilled to spotlight the extraordinary talents of Cristena, our Featured Stamper extraordinaire. Dive into her awe-inspiring gallery, a treasure trove brimming with creativity and inspiration for all. I found this INSPIRATION.

Drawing from Cristena's remarkable work, I found my muse and crafted a card that pays homage to her style. Adapting a layout with finesse, I opted for a circular motif instead of the oval, injecting my own touch by introducing a charming banner to showcase the sentiment.

To elevate the design further, I opted to give the sentiment a lift by mounting it on dimensionals, imparting depth and visual interest. A sprinkle of candy dots adds a delightful finishing touch, infusing the composition with a dash of whimsy.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my card today; your presence is truly appreciated. Your kind words brighten my day and inspire me to keep creating. Don't hesitate to leave a comment. I'd love to return the favor by visiting your blog for a delightful exchange of creativity.

Birthday Daisies

IC955 - Rent the Runway - INSPIRATION

USEIT2024 - Die cut daisies

For my card, I had these daisies in my tote of items to use up. I added some copics to them to color them up and then used dimensionals to create the cluster.

I layered on a couple of pieces of designer paper, added the birthday banner and finished with a few scattered pearls.

Hot Air Balloon

WT993 - Balloons, hot air balloon

For my card, I pulled out a Spellbinders hot air balloon die cut and cut out the layers. I then die cut a few clouds.

Next, I added some sponging to a few of the layers of the balloon and sponged some yellow sun rays to white cardstock.

The card was finished with the elements popped up on dimensionals and a red birthday sentiment.

Birthday Pup

SC1002 - this week's sketch for splitcoaststampers.com

For my card today, I cut out the layers and found this cute dog image from Hunkydory. I love this layout as it provided a leftover piece from cutting the triangle so I could make a second card.

The card was finished with the birthday banner popped up on dimensionals and a few scattered sequins.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Mothers Day

CAS786 - Add some sparkle

For my card, I used this great floral image from DRS Designs. It is actually a tree branch and I wanted just the flowers. To get just the flowers, I stamped the image on acetate then created a mask where the branch would stamp. I then put the mask under the acetate to make sure it was in the right place and then removed the acetate. I then stamped the flowers to the card stock.

Next, I used a heart stencil to draw the heart and then I stamped the sentiment in the heart.

The flowers were colored with copics and finished with chunky glitter stickles.
