Bring You Joy

FS842 - This week's incredibly talented featured stamper Christine aka Crafty Meme. Her gallery is full of amazing inspiration. I found this INSPIRATION,

I changed the card to an A2 rather than slimline. Die cut some pinecones, branches, berries and layered all in a cluster finishing with a gold ribbon and gem.

The sentiment was stamped in red and popped up on dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

USEIT2023 - Paw Print sticker

For my card I used some scrap paw print paper layered on yellow. I embossed just the top portion of the blue layer and layered that on black. The die cut dog is layered on yellow and black and then I finished the card with another paw print sticker from my tote and a yellow ribbon.

Birthday Gnome

WT941 - Stay Afloat

USEIT2023 - Fish Brads

For my card I used a cut file and my Cricut to cut out the pieces of my gnome and surfboard. I added sponging and white highlights as I was piecing him together and a few dimensionals to some of the layers.

I layered the gnome on a water paper and added a few scattered fish brads from my tote.

The card was finished with the birthday banner popped up on dimensionals.

Thinking of You

 MMTPT765 - Words

For my card I used a designer paper that was full of words. I lined it up on the left side of the panel and layered it using a dark purple as an accent.

Next, I stamped the sentiment and layered on the same dark purple and finished with a few scattered gems.

Life is Better

CAS734 - Shoes

Do you own cowboy boots? I have a pair and love them.

For my card today I used these cute cowboy boots from DRS Designs and colored them up with copics.

I also wanted to play around with the placement of the sentiment. This sentiment is all one stamp all lined up and I thought it would be fun to move the words around to show you that you don't have to cut apart your stamps to get your words in other places on your cards.

First, I stamped the full sentiment on acetate. Next, I lined up the "Life is better" part of the sentiment to the left of the boots. I then masked off the card where the rest of the sentiment would be stamped using the acetate as the guide so that I could just get the "Life is better" next to the boots.

I then moved the card front to line up where I wanted the words "in Cowboy" and then masked the card front where the words "Life is better" and "Boots" so that those would not stamp on the card.

Finally, I moved the card front to where I wanted the word "BOOTS". I then masked the top portion of the sentiment using the acetate as my guide. I then stamped the "BOOTS".

Here is a picture of my acetate with the full sentiment and you can see the word BOOTS at the top. That is because that paper is my masking paper. I have moved it around and used that paper to cover up my cardstock. In the photo you can also see the full sentiment on the acetate and under it the white paper it is already stamped. Again, I used the acetate as my guide and if I line up my cardstock under my mask paper, I would be able to move the word boots anywhere on my card by simply masking the top portion of the stamp with my scrap paper.
If you have acetate, give this a try to move around your sentiments and use only portions. It is a great way to stretch your stamps.
