Remembering

F4A630 - Hello Spring

I learned a dear friend lost her daughter and her son saw a yellow butterfly and thought it was her daughter. Her daughter also loved Callalily's and I just had to make this card for her.

I die cut the butterfly base then created the easel card and die cut it again for the top layer.

Next, I stamped the butterfly on yellow and die cut that then added the lacy die cut butterfly on top.

The flowers were in my drawer already made up waiting for cards. (I like making a few in advance to make my card making quick when I need a fast card for such an occasion).

The remembering sentiment my son wrote. He taught himself calligraphy and is really good and very handy when I need a sentiment that I don't own.

MIX477 - Sew What

USEIT2022 - Cat Fabric

I have a few of these cat pieces of fabric in my tote with dancing cats and they are perfect for the challenge.

I traced with a pencil the cat image using my light box to see them. I then used my scan and cut to cut out the image from the top layer.

Next, I sponged the edge with pink distress oxide ink and added the sentiment.

I then glued the cat to the card base and glued the window over the fabric.

Pet Cards

WT888 - Use gold

USEIT2022 - pet paper clips

I needed to use up a large stack of pet paper clips and they were perfect for the challenge. I used a bunch of scrap designer paper and trimmed up the cards. I then added some grosgrain ribbon and added the paper clips to the ribbon.

I finished the cards off with some of the sentiments that are used for my pet donation cards.

Deepest Sympathy

SC897 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

I have been sorting and trying to use up scrap papers from my stash and this sketch is perfect for using some papers.

I cut the layers and added the black to add a bit of interest to the strips. I then stamped the paw print and the sympathy sentiment.

This is headed to my monthly pet card donations.

CC887 - POOL PARTY, REAL RED, PETAL PINK

My niece needed a car birthday card and today's challenge is perfect for the card.

I die cut the pieces using spellbinders die cuts, layered, added some dimensionals and then sponged in the clouds. Finished with the bakers twine added to the balloons.

Hello

MMTPT712 - stitching on our cards

I used a Jade Blossom die cut to cut down a bunch of scraps for the card base. Glued the layers and stamped the sentiment finishing off with a few Memory Box die cut flowers, popped the sentiment up on dimensionals and added Nuvo Drops to the flowers.

Elephant Birthday

CAS681 - take me to the Zoo (use zoo animals on your cards)

This has to be the happiest elephant. My aunt loves elephants and I am sure she would love this one. I stamped the elephant and colored it with copics.

Next, I fussy cut the elephant and glued him to the pink card stock. I then die cut the frame and popped it up on  dimenstionals and stamped the birthday sentiment on the frame.

I then punched a few white balloons and colored them with pink copics and added the bakers twine.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card. I love reading your lovely comments and will visit your blog if you leave me a comment.
