Week of 3/11/18 cards

FS579 - Today's Featured Stamper is Denise (Visa Visa). I found this great CARD and liked the simple look of it.

I kept the card rotated the same way and added DPS on one side. I needed some quick thank you cards. Inkadinkado has a great Thank you set with a bunch of different fonts for Thank you. Grabbed my stash of cut DPS and glued a few different papers to CS and finished off with a colored CS.

MMTPT503 - A Wee bit of Fun!

Printed the unicorn and colored with pencil. layered DPs and the ribbon. Finished off with some small purple hearts.

Stamped the Heartfelt Creations Peacock and colored with copics. Popped the image on dimensionals and added a few layers of die cuts and DPs. Finished off with ribbon and stickles.

Colored this fun squirrel image that was sent to me over a year ago with pencils. Cut down many scraps of DPS and used the hello die cut that Jan (Precious Kitty) just sent to me in the last tickle teapot challenge. Thanks Jan!

USEIT2018 - Floral Die Cuts
These great floral die cuts were sent to me in a Teapot exchange last year. Every month I do a donation of pet sympathy cards. I thought these stunning floral die cuts would frame these cards nicely.
Tucked the die cuts behind a white CS and layered on blue CS. Stamped the sentiment and used a couple die cut pups.

Pet Sympathy

IC641 - Aquarium of the Pacific where I found this IMAGE. I love how it was all tone on tone and yet the texture of the fish was still in the image.

I unfortunately needed several sympathy cards this past week and needed to replenish my stash.
Using some embossed paper I kept the cards very monochromatic with just a pop if color. I had a large stack of this embossed paper so I layered it on the same color card stock. Then I embossed several sentiments and added some dimensionals to the sentiment layers. I finished a couple cards with some tiny flowers from my stash and a couple with crosses from my stash.

FS578 the super talented BRONWYN EASTLEY! Bronwyn aka BronJ. I found this super CARD.
USEIT2018 - trying to finish using the Green Duck embellishments that I have had for a year. This is the last of the baby themed Green Duck embellishments. Still have others but yeah one pile done! :)
I was drawn in to the purple and the large ribbon.
Using the ribbon as my starting point I added a circle punched layer and finished off with the green duck embellishments.

Did an ombre effect with Distress green on the BG and added some Red Nuvo Drops on top of the tree and the sentiment. Popped the sentiment on Dimensionals.

CAS471 - Color base
USEIT2018 - Using up a bunch of scrappy papers
Started with the colored base for the CAS challenge and threw on a bunch of scraps of papers sitting on my desk. Finished off with a tied ribbon and popped the sentiment on Dimensionals.

MMTPT502 - Sometimes it's the little details that can make all the difference. I'd like you to add a border to your card. It can be as simple as some scored lines or a piece of washi tape. Stamp a border, doodle, or use a die cut. So go the extra mile this week and add a border on your card for Payson. Stamped the sentiment on the fancy tag. Die cut the fun border and layered the teal on the white. Punched a lacy trim and tied a ribbon. Finished off with some punched flowers and leaves that were sitting on my desk.

Stamped the fun Whimsey image and colored with copics. Die cut the snow border and layered on DP. Punched the ornament and stamped the sentiment. Finished off the ornament with bakers twine.

Stamped the swirl BG using bleach. die cut the butterflies and tied a ribbon and lace. Added Nuvo drops for the trail of the butterflies.

Masked off the circle and sponged distress oxide ink in blue and purple. While Masked stamped the image with black ink. Finished off with the stars and image.

IC640 - Global Handmade Hope where I found these adorable Booties. Of course I looked at shoes. LOL!
I made a couple of these cards trying to use up the last little bits of the paw print paper for the banners. I am hoping to get more here soon as it is great paper for the sympathy cards I donate.
The large paw prints are die cut out of black then layered on the white and black layers and finished off with the sentiment.

Week of 3/3/18 cards

FS577 - the featured stamper Carol aka creatingincolors. I found this fantastic CARD.

I had a few die cuts that Jan (Precious Kitty) sent me over a year ago and needed to finish my pet sympathy donation this month and Carol's card was a wonderful inspiration with the wave of blue.

Grabbed these die cuts, filled in the shapes with black and layered black on top. Stamped the sentiment and die cut a few different pets for the fronts.

Sponged on yellow, orange and pink to represent a sunset in the grand canyon. Then stamped the palm tree and colored with color box and die cut. Finished off with the sentiment.

SC686 - This weeks sketch

USEIT2018 - These sticker rings were given to me in a large box of stuff from my mom for my birthday. I am trying to use up stuff up that I don't typically use on cards and these rings are going to just need to be used up. :)

Cut the base layer and embossed, cut the framing layers and added dimensionals. Die cut the love 4 times with the last layer being pink. Added the ribbon and Nuvo Drops around the card and finished off with the ring sticker and flowers.

Stamped the adorable image and colored with pencils. Layered a couple DPs and added ribbon, flowers and cheese cloth. Did some 3D paper piecing on the image and die cut the word love 3 times to add some dimension.

IC639 - Color Palettes I found this wonderful PALETTE as soon as I opened the site.

USEIT2018 - My crafty goal for 2018 is to use stuff up. I am nearly done using the Easter Green Duck embellishments from last year. When I saw the color palette I thought of this little chick.

Cut the 2 egg layers and popped the Green Duck embellishment on dimensionals. Added an embossed panel and tied a ribbon. Finished off with star sequins and some flowers from my desk.
