For this card, I pulled out this great Penny Black image and stamped it on watercolor paper, then used my Zig Clean Color brushes to paint the scene. The soft blends from the markers work beautifully on watercolor paper and give the image a gentle, hand‑painted feel.
To keep the design clean and simple, I added a small birthday sentiment in the upper corner on a die cut banner, popped up on dimensionals for a bit of lift. A few scattered gems finish the card with just the right touch of sparkle.
