For this card, I pulled out a bold black and white striped paper and layered it on black cardstock, then added everything to a yellow card base for a bright, cheerful foundation. Next, I chose a couple of scrap designer papers, layered each on black cardstock, and arranged them over the striped background so the patterns worked together without overwhelming the layout.
For the focal point, I used this great Hunkydory dog image and added several die cut circle layers, pulling colors from the scrap papers so the whole design felt cohesive. The dog image is popped up on dimensionals, and the welcome sentiment is tucked just beneath him for a friendly finishing touch.
This will be another of my pet donation cards.
