IC1090 - Smile Mercantile craft Co - INSPIRATION
For this card, the gorgeous angel inspiration immediately brought to mind this sweet Connie Fong angel image that my friend Jan (Precious Kitty) gifted to me. I stamped the image, colored her with copics, and then used the coordinating die to cut her out, which gives her such a clean and polished look.
Next, I pulled out more of the designer paper I am working to use up this year and added a silver glitter layer behind each piece to bring a soft shimmer to the layout. I layered everything on a brown card base, which warms the design and helps the glitter accents stand out beautifully.
To finish the card, I added dimensionals behind the angel and the birthday sentiment, giving both elements a gentle lift that completes the sweet, airy feel of the card.
