Pop Up Graduation

Well all who know me know I have 3 graduates this year that I am cranking out as many graduation cards as I can to fill all the orders for friends and family. As soon as I saw Elizabeth's card - yep I did another graduation card.

I did a belly band rather than the strip across the card then added an oval over the band.

I added DP rather than stamping the base layer and die cut congratulations for the top.

I needed the belly band because on the inside I did the Karen Burniston pop up ball and created a graduate complete with glasses to give it the look of my son.

My sister has 2 small boys and this will be a card from her because the boys will approve of this as a card for their favorite cousin.

IC804 - Nina Cloak where I found this great Long Sleeve T-Shirt

For my card I used the mountains for the top and then stamped the fishing boat on the water. I then added orange, yellow and grey to the top and 3 different blues to the water. I then used a black marker to fill in the mountains and add some birds.

F4A587 - Texture Oh how I love adding shaped flowers, prills and die cuts that all add textures to cards My MIL asked for Dogwood flowers for her Mother's Day card. Sure thing.  I stamped, shaped, colored and layered the flowers. Die cut the base and the gold layer and added dimensionals to the sentiment layer. Finished the flowers with prills and stickles. WT842 - All Taped up, use tape

My niece asked me a long time ago to create an Eeyore Nurse card for her mom Well I finally got around to it.

This is a free coloring page that I printed and colored with copics. I then stamped the sentiment and cut it out. I used several DPs and a washi tape to create the base layer. I finished off with 4 punched hearts (there are 4 family members in my nieces family). and a medical button my mom gave me as her mom is a nurse.

SC851 - this weeks sketch USEIT2021 - Fairy image While going through my stack of images that need colored I came across this cute fairy and I colored her with pencils while out one day. I used the sketch to start this card and then added a bit more layer to the sketch and a sentiment banner. Fairy Birthday

USEIT2021 - Bird Images

I needed to use up these bird images that were in my stack of images needing colored and used. I colored them with pencils and cut out with die cuts.

I used DPs in today's colors and all from my scrap drawer.

2021 Grad

 MMTPT666 - Sylvia Beach Hotel where I was inspired by This Room

I am trying to crank out as many graduation cards as I can as I have 3 family members graduating this year and one of them their school colors is red, white and blue. Many family members have asked for graduation cards and I am trying to supply them with cards. So this card will not be part of the exchange.

I embossed the red and blue with mortar hats and stamped the owl. I then colored the owl with copics and popped it up on dimensionals.
