Sunny Susie

I am honored again this week to hostess the weekly Ways to Use It challenge. It worked great to combine this challenge with the Featured Stamper and Teapot Tuesday challenges.

This is Sunny Susie the dancing sunflower girl. She lives in her field with her 10,000 sisters. They dance in the breeze when no one is watching but Sunny Susie dreams of showing humans how all the sunflowers dance. She practices every night and in to the early morning hours and really loves to dance. She thinks to herself one day she will get on a stage and show the world her dance moves. Until that day comes she continues to practice. So if ever you are driving by a field of sunflowers look out and keep watch you might see Sunny Susie sneaking in a few practice moves.

This great image is from Tiddly Inks. I printed her off and colored her with copics. I used this wonderful card here for inspiration for this weeks FS Jan. Seeing Jan’s sunflower I just knew this image was perfect for my challenge and for the teapot challenge this week too. She is named after Teapot Tuesday challenge hostess Susie Australia. And I just had to give her a story because Miss Susie has the best stories on her cards.

Perfect Blend

Happy Thanksgiving! Today on the Ways to Use It challenge we are adding coffee to our cards. Since I have been busy leading up to Thanksgiving I did a really quick simple card with some great DP and die cuts.

Thinking of You

The Featured Stamper today is the AMAZING gallery of MommaPatti. She has a brilliant gallery that I have enjoyed for some time.

These darling images are from Green Duck Sales. They have a great fan club program that you can check out:  Green Duck Die Cut Club  or you can follow them at Green Duck Facebook.

Ruff Day

The Inspiration Challenge was beautifully layered Spellbinders dies. I found a stunning card with teal blue and white and it really drew me in to make a card with the teal and white. I am working on a few pet cards to raise money for our local animal shelters. A very dear friend will be selling these for me in his shop where 100% of all proceeds will be going to the local shelters.

Relax Birthday

On the Free 4 All challenge on Splitcoast Stampers we are to show how we relax. If I get any time to really relax I like to sit and watch a little TV but when I do I fall asleep. I needed a card for my brother for his birthday and he was out of work a couple of weeks getting ready to start his new job. He relaxes very little. He is always on the go doing something in his garage or helping someone so I thought this would be a fun image for him.

White Holidays

I love how this turned out. Using the Sliding Pop Up tutorial found on Splitcoast Stampers I created this winter scene all white on white. This was fun to create for two reasons. First all papers are left overs. Scrappy cards are my favorite because I can use card stock that did not work on one card or scraps the create them using up papers. Second I love how the scene turned out with the all white on white.
