Graduate 2021

 

FS741 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stampepr is Heather Freeman, better known around here as heather freeman. I found this cute Snowflake Box I had a thought in my head for my son's graduation to make an exploding box and put pictures in it. I have been combing through pictures for a very long time looking for just the right pictures and also put pictures in from each of his school years. The main pictures are his school years and the secondary pictures are of his family members that have been a part of his growing up most of those family members have passed so this is how we are including them in his graduation. I used the Divinity Designs exploding box and cut the box in black and cut the matting layers in gold for his school colors. You ask why is this a 5 well let's just say that trying to get the images the right size and also include the pictures of those family members so that the image was recognizable is a huge challenge. Thankfully hubby still loves me after the hours it took him to help with these images.

Swan Anniversary

 

IC802 - Paper Mache Art where I found this great Inspiration

I was asked to make an anniversary card and I really needed to play with my Calla Lily collection from Heartfelt Creations. I love Calla Lilies and thought this collection was perfect for an anniversary card.

Stamped the flowers and shaped them adding stamen to the centers and hot gluing them. Die cut the decorative card base and stamped, cut and colored the swans. I finished with the anniversary sentiment on the die cut from the label collection.

MIX429 - Diamond

Well of course there is a diamond on this, lots actually the mortar hats top is diamond shaped so that is my story and I am running with it because I need more graduation cards.

I die cut the hat, embossed the layers and stamped the sentiment. I added nuvo drops to spruce up the card a bit.

Well since my son's school colors are black and gold I used a yellow for the gold and was able to create another graduation card. I still have a bunch to go to finish up the many cards on order for graduation for 3 family members graduating this year. This is all die cuts, and embossing.

While going through my tote of items to use up I came across this little girl. I thought she would be perfect for a fun layout. I cut the layers and mounted and finished with the little girl.

CC839 - Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay

I used this weeks colors to stamp a bunch of flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Creations set. I then shaped the flowers and leaves, cut the center out of the DP and turned the layer.

Dimensionals were added to the layers and I finished the flowers off with Nuvo Drops and Stickles.

MMTPT664 - star on your card.

I die cut a bunch of stars from light pink and grey and layered them on an embossed layer. I added the sentiment and some gold mirror paper and finished with some sequins.

Winter Silhouette

I am honored to host today's Clean and Simple challenge. Today we are adding silhouettes to our cards. I just love this cute skating snowman and thought he would be great added to a snowy scene.

I started by stamping the snowman and then I masked him. Then I used an old bauble stencil and stamped the tree silhouette in the stencil. I then sponged on the colors to create the scene in the stencil.
