Happy Harvest

Heartfelt Creations is one of my favorite companies. I just love their images and love adding color to them. These applies turned out so life like once the color was added. I wanted to pick them up off the page when I was done coloring them. Adding the distress ink around them really popped them on teh card.

Enjoy the Boat

Oh how I would love another boat ride to be on the water enjoying the breeze.

Masked off the card added some blue and yellow. Added white gel pen for waves. Sponged on some clouds. Stamped the image and the sentiment. I like to add the stitching die cut to the edge to add some extra texture and focal to a card. It can be used for masculine and feminine cards.

With Love

House Mouse has some super fun images and this one is one of my favorites. The mouse on top is having a great time jumping and the other two are very content sleeping.

To keep up with the challenges on Splitcoast Stampers for Dare to get dirty I used this image again as I had it already colored in my stash. We did 42 cards in 7 days and that can be a huge challenge for any crafter.

Steampunk Boots

As crafters it can get very costly to create some of our creations. When we use foil from our kitchen we can use it to pool inks and sprays and other fun crafty supplies. Don't toss that foil, it can be used on a card and you can get some great backgrounds. This was a saved piece of foil and I ran it through the gear emboss folder then added additional red and grey to get the gears to come to life.

Coffee

Shaker cards are such fun to give to recipients and can be filled with many fun items. Creating this coffee card I decided that actual ground coffee would be really fun to fill in the shaker card. This card smells wonderful.

Thinking of You

Recently I assisted a scout troop with earning their textile merit badge. One of the requirements for that badge is to use items other then dies to color fabric. This ribbon was white and after having it sit in coffee I was able to stain it nearly the color of the designer paper just above it. I love the effect of coloring something to match the paper or colors of a card and using something that I already have rather than buying is always a savings.

I am always looking for ways to use scraps and adding banners is always a great way to add scraps.
