Thinking of You

CAS788 - April Showers

For my card, I die cut the center panel from a scrap watercolor paper and sponged the panel with 2 different blue distress oxide inks. I then spritzed with water.

Next, I die cut the clouds and umbrella and layered and finished with heat embossing the sentiment in white on black card stock.

70th Birthday

FS895 - this week's incredibly talented featured stamper is Sioban. I found this beautiful INSPIRATION.

I love the colors in the tulips on the card, so I used that as my staring point. I used the Unity Tulip stencil and stenciled the colors on the side of the panel using some distress oxide inks. I then trilled in a coordinating orange and added some black to add a bit more drama to the card.

I finished with stamping the birthday sentiment and die cut the 70 as my aunt needs a 70th birthday card for a friend.

Christmas Deer

USEIT2024 - Deer Die cut

CCC24APR - Creatures

When I found my inspiration, I knew I had this deer die cut in my tote of items to use up. I popped the die cut up on dimensionals and added a few layers. I then added some punched leaves and bow from my stash and finished with the Christmas sentiment and a few scattered gems.

Birthday Envelope

WT994 - Envelope

For my card today, I pulled out this great spellbinders die cut and cut out all the different layers. The flowers were all cut out of scraps. I love all the new die cuts because they are a great way to use up paper scraps.

Once I had all the flowers layered I finished them with some gold pearls and added the birthday tag wrapped with some ribbon.

Graduation

SC1003 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

USEIT2024 - Stickers

For my card, I was gifted these great graduation stickers from my friend Anne (jdmommy) I am trying to use stuff up as soon as I get it from friends so it does not get lost in my craft room, so these went to the tote. I am quickly approaching graduation season and have a few that are graduating this year, so I pulled these out for a very quick card.

I added a gold mirror card stock and all these great stickers. Really quick card for me today.

Sailor Girl

MMTPT818 - Wind

For my latest card creation, I opted for this charming Bestie image, which I brought to life with the vibrant hues of Copics. To complement the image, I selected a pair of coordinating papers, layering them meticulously atop a sleek blue cardstock mat for a striking contrast.

Adding a touch of elegance, I affixed a simple "Hello" sentiment, elevated on dimensionals for added depth and visual appeal, completing the card with a flourish.

Are You Cured

CAS787 - Sentiment Strip

For my card, I needed a get-well card and this image from DRS Designs is just perfect. I colored it up with copics and cut down the layers. I then added the Are You Cured Yet sentiment.

I loved the blanked in the image and had this great emboss folder that reminds me of a comfortable quilt.

The card was finished with a few scattered buttons that I have had in my stash for a large number of years.
