Welcome Pup

SC998 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card I used this cute dog image from a Hunkydory paper pad and cut out the layers. I then found a die cut for a tennis ball and cut that out for the front of the card.

The card was finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few scattered sequins.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Thinking of You Sunset

MMTPT813 - Sunset

For my card, I used this great silhouette stamp from Inkadinkado. I first used yellow, orange and red to create the setting sun to the white card stock. I then stamped the images and finished the panel with the sentiment from Stampin Up.

I used a couple of paper scraps to create the background and layered each of the layers on black card stock to pick up the black in the silhouette images.

The card was finished with some orange sequins.

For Someone Special

CAS782 - Birthday Cards

I absolutely love this card. I love the image; I love the colors and I love the clean feel to this card.

For the card, I stamped the butterfly from DRS Designs 3 times on white card stock and colored them with copics. I then cut the panel down and popped it up on dimensionals.

I then used a portion of a DRS Design sentiment stamped on white card stock and popped that up on dimensionals.

The card was finished with several black gems.

20th Anniversary M and M Birthday

FS889 - Today's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Shelly, is better known around here as yo sam. I have been a longtime fan of Shelly's amazing talent and found this super fun INSPIRATION.

Shelly's card character reminded me that I needed to create a 20th anniversary card for my brother to give to his wife. She loves M&Ms and he wants a 20th anniversary M&M card.

My SIL's favorite M&M is the yellow one but alas I could not find the Yellow M&M Peanut shape with his hands in the air but I did find a plain one that was uncolored online. I printed the digi image then used my DRS Designs billiard stamp stamping out the balls 2 through 6 to add up to 20. (Both my brother and SIL play billiard so this was perfect to add to the card.

I colored the image with copics then cut out and layered on green card stock and finished with gold die cut sentiment and a few scattered pink hearts.

IC950 - All Paint by Numbers & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

For my card, used this die cut that a sweet SCS friend sent me and added some dimensionals behind the head. I added a scrap orange piece and gem for the dog collar.

Once the dog was created I added it to some DP and layered on orange then finished the card with the thanks sentiment.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Irish Cheer

WT988 - St Patrick Card or feature green

For my card, I pulled out this great stamp from DRS Designs and heat embossed it in glitter gold on pale green card stock. I then added a darker green copic over it.

I used a new DRS Design sentiment stamped in green and finished the card with some gold sequins and the green ribbon.

Valentine

SC997 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used a great heart set from Archiver's that I have had for many years and never used. I stamped the hearts then used a black glitter heat emboss. I added some punched lace in black and finished with a black ribbon and some red pearls.

This was very hard to photograph as the black designer paper layer is very shiny. My son snagged this card for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day.
