For my card, I pulled out this fun Crazy Bird image from Tim Holtz and colored it in teal. I dressed him up with a bowler hat, a patterned tie, and a pair of glasses to give him a quirky personality.
I layered the bird on a playful paper pack my son picked out for me at Christmas, added a white panel for contrast, and then placed everything on a piece of designer paper from my stash that I am working to use up this year. The finished panel is mounted on a white card base.
Both the bird and the birthday sentiment are popped up on dimensionals for extra lift. This one is headed to my son for his birthday, and the little twists in the design feel just right for him.
