USEIT2026 - Star
For my card, I pulled out the boot and hat die cuts from Spellbinders and cut them from cream cardstock. I kept the paper in the dies and sponged brown ink through the openings, then removed the pieces and added a bit more sponging to deepen the shading and give the images extra interest.
I tied a pink lasso around the boots and popped both the boots and hat up on dimensionals over this fun Whimsy Stamps paper. The panel is layered on a piece of designer paper from my stash that I am working to use up this year and then mounted on a white card base.
To finish the card, I added a star from my tote of items to use up, a few scattered leaves, and the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

ReplyDeleteAmazing die cuts! They look fabulous all inked up! Love the background papers and design too- what a brilliant way to illustrate your song lyrics. This would be a perfect card for a Country & Western fan. xx
