Father's Day Farm

FS800 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Faye (aka FayeMakesCards). I found this wonderful INSPIRATION.

USEIT2022 - Buttons

JUN22VSNMINI1 - Farm Animals...the blue ribbon is around the goat's neck.

I needed to work on Father's Day cards and Faye's card was perfect to inspire me to pull out a masculine stamp.

For the card, I stamped the tractor, colored with copics then die cut the layers with a stitched die cut to mirror the hand stitching she added to her card.

I turned the next layer and then added the sentiment and a couple of buttons from my tote of items I am trying to use up.

Blue and Red Birthday

IC861 - Happy Happy Nester where I found this INSPIRATION.

I am working on a few birthday cards for friends and family and blue and red balloons is perfect for anyone.

I sponged the balloons using a couple of stencils and distress oxides and then layered on blue card stock.

The celebrate sentiment was cut out a couple of times then layered and added some Nuvo Drops to add some shine.

The card front was finished with a few blue sequins.

Congratulations Dog

WT899 - Twine

I love the look of the Twine Inlay and thought I could use the negative from die cutting this dog for a 2nd card for my donations.

Once the Twine Inlay was complete I heat embossed the congratulations sentiment.

7th Anniversary

SC908 - This week's Sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

My niece and nephew are celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary this year. Both of them asked me for a slot machine for an anniversary card. Well, thankfully I was able to get my niece to ask for something different. So this is for my nephew to give to his wife. LOL!

I cut the layers, stamped the sentiment and a few different love sentiments then die cut the 7s in gold glitter paper and doodles the line across the 7s.

Kitty Christmas

SCSCCJUN22 - Movies

CCC22JUN - Let It Snow - The paper actually has the words Let It Snow, and I thought it would be a fun play on the June Challenge.

I used my Cricut to cut out this cute kitty in yellow and die cut the frame layers. I paper pieced the kitty together adding a bit of additional sponging to each of the layers. The eyes, nose, both, Wiskers and bow have a bit of pen marks to add a bit more interest to the fun kitty.

Vintage Hello

MMTPT723 - vintage style cards

For my card I used some of the wonderful paper from Hobby Lobby that seems to be very popular.

I cut the layers, added some distressing on the edges and added a bit of an old dictionary with some black die cut leaves behind the dictionary layer. I finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few silver candy dots.

Birthday Pie

CAS692 - Sweet! (anything sweet)

For my card today I used a sweet pie image from DRS Designs and did a bit of masking to add the candle behind the image. I colored the scene with copics then added the birthday sentiment and layered on colored cardstock to pick up the colors in the image.
