Dragonfly Thanks

WT1003 - Dragonflies

USEIT2024 - Dragonfly

I needed to use up more dragon flies from my tote and this challenge is perfect. I had this already embossed piece in my tote so I cut it down and added dimensionals.

Under the embossed panel I added a couple of banner ribbons and the card was finished with the stitching on the card and dragon fly as well as a few scattered blue pearls and the thank you sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Cardinal Birthday

CAS527 - Put the Sun on your cards

FS903 - This week's wonderful, featured stamper is Linda (fischer01). I was inspired by this card.

For my card, I ended up with this leftover cardinal after making graduation cards this year and I thought he could use a fun sun behind him.

I masked the panel, sponged some yellow then removed the mask and lightly added a bit of yellow to the sun.

I die cut the branch and finished with the birthday sentiment.

FS901 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Josanna aka JosannaP. Here is my INSPIRATION.

USEIT2024 - Bike die cut from my tote.

I was inspired by the bike and used that as my starting point as I had this bike die cut in my tote needing used.

I cut out some gingham paper to mirror the hexagon emboss folder and then I added a number strip rather than fancy fiber.

I added a couple of balloons on dimensionals and the birthday sentiment.

USEIT2024 - Image

I needed to use up this image from my tote. For the card base and the image, I used a paper distress tool and distressed all the edges, I then added some tan distress oxide to the card base and the blue layer.

Under the image, I cut a doily in half and tucked it under the corners. I then used a brad in the upper left corner and several flowers from my stash finishing them with pearls.

The ribbon was tucked around the image and the blue layer.

Art Education Graduation

WT999 - Fancy Fold

My son's girlfriend graduates on Saturday and this is the card I made for her.

I used the Divinity Design step die cut to create the step card and then added some great paper to the inside. I die cut the circles and the 2024 adding those to the steps.

The cap and class of are also die cuts from Divinity and the scroll is from Penny Black.

The sentiment is from Unity and I finished the scroll off with a bit of ribbon from my stash that my son's girlfriend helped me clean up from bags of ribbon that was given to me by friends and family.

Fun Fold

Here is the front of the card:

She is graduating with an Art Education degree. So, for the front of the card, I die cut the Spellbinders art pallet and used several colors of Distress Oxide to add color to the pallet.

Next, I die cut the paint brushes and watered down some acrylic paint in red, yellow and blue for the tips of the brushes. I then added full acrylic paint to the die cut paint drops and popped those up on dimensionals.

I then die cut the hat and scroll out of paper scraps and the paint tube and popped the tube up on dimensionals.

For the sentiment, I downloaded a certificate font and typed that in word. I then die cut the panel and popped it up on dimensionals.

The front of the card was finished with a few clear sequins.
