SC1081 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I pulled out this cute Hunkydory image and used an out of the box cut by snipping around his paws then using a circle die cut for the rest of the image.

The image is layered on a scalloped brown and then a couple of scrap layers are added to finish the layout.

The card was finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals, a few scattered hearts and a ribbon.

FS972 - This week's very talented Featured Stamper Katherine, is better known around here as katherinerock. I found this INSPIRATION. For my card, I featured a large graduation cap die cut, crafted from black cardstock. I mounted it using dimensional adhesive to give it a pop of depth, with a grad cap-themed designer paper serving as the background. The CONGRATS sentiment was also die cut and placed on a white strip, which I layered over gold mirror cardstock for a touch of shine. I love the way the woman is standing in that image, it reminds me of this image from Penny Black. For my card, I stamped the image, colored it with copics and layered it on a coordinating pink cardstock.

For my card, I pulled out this adorable Spellbinders die cut set and cut it out of several different cardstock papers.

The scene was layered on a designer paper that looks like clouds and the birthday sentiment was popped up on dimensionals.

CAS864 - School Time

For my card, I pulled out this cute school bus that I picked up from one for $1. 

My sister is a school bus mechanic, and she loves when I make a few bus cards for her to give to the other mechanics and drivers.

I die cut it out of yellow, layered it on a diamond plate embossed black panel and finished with the bus and thanks popped up on dimensionals.
