St Patricks Day

CAS785 - Monochromatic Green Card

MMTPT815 - Wee Bit Irish

WT991 - Stitching

For my card, I pulled out my green scrap drawer of papers and found a couple of great green scraps that worked for a card base front. I loved the look of the blocked colors and ran with it adding some stitching to the edges of the layers.

Next, I added this great sentiment from DRS Designs stamped in green on the bottom piece.

Mothers Day Frog

FS892 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is AndreaLove. While her gallery is small, it is amazing and it was hard to choose just one. I found this fantastic INSPIRATION.

My son's girlfriend asked if I could make a frog mother's day card for her to give to her mom. Happy to help her with a card.

I had this DP in my tote of items to use up and I thought it would be perfect for this frog.

I cut the Tim Holtz frog out of several greens and layered it.

The card was finished with the Mother's Day Banner.

Stitched Birthday

IC953 - The Inspired Room and Pinterest - INSPIRATION

WT991 - Stitching

Seeing the green and brown chairs that was perfect inspiration for my card. I die cut this spellbinders stitch die out of brown card stock. I then grabbed this floss that I need to use up as it is being stored on the back of my craft chair. It has some wonderful greens in it and I thought it was perfect for the brown cardstock.

I stitched the die cut and added some yellow pearls to several places on the panel. I finished the card with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Wedding Cake

CAS784 - National Pound Cake Day. make a card with a cake.

For my card, I wanted to use a cake image from DRS Designs for a wedding card. The image has candles, so I initially stamped the cake image on scrap paper to create a mask to mask off the candles.

Next, I stamped the cake on acetate to see where the candles would stamp on the card stock, and I added the mask to cover where they would stamp. I then stamped the cake image and removed the mask.

I added the Mr. & Mrs. stamp next to the cake and colored the image with pencils.

The flowers were finished with gems.
