Scarecrow

CAS769 - Scarecrow

For my card, I used this really cute scarecrow head from DRS Designs. I colored it with copics then layered the image on black card stock.

Next, I cut a couple of scrap papers to pick up the colors in the image and added those to black card stock and finished the card with a couple of buttons.

Birthday Girl

FS876 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Lisa, better known around here as LisaInTenn! I found this beautiful INSPIRATION.

USEIT2023 - Image

The image on Lisa's card reminded me of this image in my stack of images I am trying to get colored and used up.

I colored the image with copics, cut down the layers and added a blue matting layer.

The card was finished with yellow pearls.

IC937 - Catch My Party & Pintrist - INSPIRATION

For my card, I punched out a bunch of scrap paper with a balloon punch and layered them 4 high. I then glued them to the card stock.

Next, I painted white acrylic paint over the balloons. Once dry I watered down white acrylic paint and painted a thin layer of the white over the red.

I then die cut the congratulations 3 times out of black card stock and glued on the card front. The card was then finished with the sticker graduation cap and a few scattered black gems.

For my card, I found this really cute image in my stack of images I am trying to color and use up. I colored it with pencils.

I then used a bunch of papers from my orange scrap drawer and layered them on black card stock so they would pop.

The card was finished with some orange sequins.

Number 32

SC984 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used this great die cut from Spellbinders to cut out the uniform shirt. I then used the shirt die cut to also cut out the waistband of the shorts. I then ran the shorts portion through my crimper and added a score line to the band.

I then die cut the basketball and popped that up on dimensionals. The shirt was then layered on a brick wall.

This is my nephew's school colors and his number, so I am sending this to my sister to use for a card when she needs one for him.

Friendsgiving...

CAS768 - Friendship

Are there crafty friends like me that have a bunch of really large gems? Well, my card today is showing just that, large gems and a fun way to use them.

For my card, I hand cut 3 triangle pieces the same size in 3 different colors. I then laid one down in the center and doodled arms and legs so I could get a starting point.

Next, I doodled arms and legs for the other two bodies and glued the 3 triangles. Under the bodies, I stamped this really wonderful Friendsgiving sentiment from DRS Designs.

I then finished the card with the 3 large gems.
