IC935 - In Honor of Design - INSPIRATION

Today's inspiration reminded me of this stitching die cut plate from Spellbinders. I love doing these and also have a bunch of rainbow floss on the back of my chair that I am trying to use up.

I cut the plate, used the rainbow floss to stitch the design and added the birthday sentiment.

FF23JBgreendawn - nontraditional tag shaped tags

For my card, I used a very old stamp that is a fun shape for Christmas Tags. I stamped it on white card stock and colored with copics.

I then fussy cut the tag and added a teal layer of card stock. I fussy cut around the tag and added the bakers twine and a few scattered teal gems.

FF23DCinkit - Use a tree, sponging and include at least one word

For my card, I sponged some clouds on white card stock. I then die cut the tree out of silver mirror card stock. The sentiment is tucked under the clouds and then the panel is popped up on dimensionals.

The tree was finished with a gold star.

FF23mscshmidty - Dryer Sheet technique

For my card, I used an old Stampin Up set stamping the image and sentiment in blue. I then used an old dryer sheet and added glitter to the dryer sheet.

The panel was then layered on a coordinating blue card stock.

For my card, I used several bright colors to create the layout layering the papers on white card stock.

I then layered that layer on black and added the blue banner.

I pulled out my Disney stickers from my tote and added Pluto and several smaller stickers from the pack. The card was finished with the birthday sentiment from Trinity Stamps.

FF23ForestRanger - Let's Go Camping

For my card, I used a bunch of die cuts from Rubberknecker to cut out my scene. These die cuts are great for creating a scene and using a bunch of scrap papers.

Once the pieces were cut I added a few dimensionals, added some shaping to the leaves and finished the card with the sentiment on the clouds.

FF23JRHolbrook - Create a fireplace scene.

For my card, I used the Honeybee fireplace stencil to create the fireplace. I then layered on a brick designer paper. I die cut the sentiment and the kitty and added some yellow to the kitty.

The fire was finished with stickles.

For my card, I used the new cow image from Magnason Stamps and colored it with copics.

I added a few designer papers layering on white card stock.

The card was finished with a few red pearls.

MMTPT797 - Clocks

For my card, I found this clock designer paper in my stash. I used that for the card base then added a die cut white layer.

Once glued, I used a bunch of scraps to cut out the wheel barrel and flowers, I added a few dimensionals. and finished the flowers with gems.

The card was finished with a butterfly from my stash and the hello sentiment.

Birthday Cards

 

FF23TexasGrammy - Use pigment powders (Brushos, Color Burst, Infusions, etc.) to create your background or use a part of your burst of color piece as a gorgeous element on your card's front!

For this card, I used 2 different green brushos and yellow brushos to fill a water color panel. I then die cut the leaf and added some dimensionals to the leaves.

The black panel has some doodled stitch lines and the card was finished with the birthday sentiment and a few green Nuvo drops.

For my second card:

FF23gutsport56 - Die Cutting with Napkins

I used the same layout as the first card and created the die cut layered napkin for my leaf. I used a different leaf and once cut I added some blue shimmer paint.

The second was also finished with the sentient on dimensionals and some blue Nuvo Drops along with the same birthday sentiment and doodled stitch lines.

I love that we can change a die cut, change a technique and get a different card.
