Winter Scene

CAS438 challenge - Christmas In July

CCC17SEP - trees, Christmas or just snowy trees, and outdoor scenes

My MIL gave me the tree branches that are stamped on the white CS then embossed in white. Next I sponged on pink and yellow. Finished off with the deer, sentiment and sequins.

Tough to see in the picture but this really is super cute.

FS545 challenge - Is the super talented Cindy Weeks, aka Weekend Warrior. Oh my goodness congrats Cindy, I have loved your gallery for a very long time. I chose this Card because I loved the colors on the card and thought they would make a wonderful BG on my card.

CCC17OCT - make your own BG

Sponged on the BG with greens and yellows to create the panel on the card. Added the memory box ornament die cut and added a few punched snowflakes and gems to add some additional layers to the ornament and stamped the sentiment.

Butterfly Beauty

IC606 challenge - I love Jennifer McGuire and love her wonderful videos to show how to do new techniques or great card ideas. This VIDEO with the distress oxides shows some great water stamping ideas with the distress oxides. I encourage you to watch to the end to see all the wonderful ideas. At the end of the video is this technique using black card stock and the distress oxide.

Using the wonderful Swallowtail stamp from SU and the distress oxide I did the same technique Jennifer did at the end of the video. Once the image was complete I finished off with some Dew Drops and Gems and popped the sentiment on dimensionals.

Lawn Ranger

WT644 challenge - Wanna Help me Paint a Fence

Stamped the Lawn Ranger and colored with pencils & Gamsol. Fussy cut the image and shaped. Die cut the fence, grass, squirrels and tag for the sentiment. Sponged in clouds and layered the scene.

This is another of the fun cards that my aunt asked me to make my uncle for next year. She wanted a John Deere and I thought it would be fun to color the tractor and his hat in John Deere colors.

Sorry for Your Loss...

FS544 challenge - is the Amazing Ann Greenspan. Somehow I managed to get a different crafter on SCS link and made a card from their inspiration card. So as soon as i realized I went back to the craft cave and made a couple quick sympathy cards to honor the wonderful friend Ann. I chose this wonderful card for inspiration: HERE.

Die cut the BG with a triangular BG die and layered one on white and one on black. Die cut 4 feathers in black and white and added the sentiment. Finished off with sequins as Ann had on her card.

FS544 Challenge - is the very talented Ann Greenspan (aka yaleann7). I love so many cards in her amazing gallery. This Card caught my eye and I just had to create these cards.

Stamped the leaves & sentiment and added splatters to the CS with grey distress ink and a paintbrush. Added stickles to the leaves and once dry tied off the hemp twine on the leaves.

Winter Wishes

IC605 challenge - Dessert Bites I found this very lovely Image and the teacup drew me in for a closer look.

CCCMAY17 challenge - ink up that new stuff - the teacup images are a new image sent to me by my friend Jan (Precious Kitty)

I colored the coffee cups shades of blue like the one in the image and layered on the sentiment ovals with dimensionals. Used a snow EF on the bottom and blue snow paper on the top. Finished off with a blue ribbon and a punched snowflake.
