Rose Garden

This weeks F4A377 challenge - What's in your garden Super quick card for me, stamped the rose from Heartfelt Creations and colored with copics. Die cut the layers of the quilt using a Gina Marie quilt die cut. The purple base I added the white dash marks with a gel pen. added the white ribbon and popped the rose up on dimensionals.

This weeks WT635 challenge - Kids & Pets, the Perfect Mix!



Stamped this darling Penny Black image and colored with pencils. Stamped the sentiment and cut the image down. added some fun layers of papers and used up more of the scraps in my scraps box.

Happy Anniversary

Today's FS535 Challenge - JustCallMeNana is our Featured Stamper. She has a stunning gallery. I found this beauty: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=243673.  My dear sweet friend asked me for an anniversary card for his wife. They are celebrating their 20 year anniversary. I loved the lacy edge on Lynda's card and the colors. I die cut two lacy layers with Gina Marie dies. Then I used the Heartfelt Creations heart and die cut the white and purple heart layers. I put the banner in the center of the heart rather than the bottom as the FS had and moved the flowers to the bottom. I finished the flowers off with stickles and a ribbon.

For the IC596 challenge - Book Art

Heartfelt Creations sells wonderful fold out card bases. I used one of their bases to do my book art. 

Used several DPs for the 8 different pages on the fold out card trimming and using the HFC lacy edge die cut to add some fun cuts. Stamped the wonderful Sunflower pail image and colored with copics and added some stickles. The image and oval are on dimensionals.

Used the sunflowers stamp and dies to add additional flowers and some leaves. Stamped them and added layers of greens for the leaves and brown, reds, yellows and coral for the sunflowers. Finished the sunflowers with prills.

The toughest part is lining up the die cuts on the layers to match the shape. This is no easy task.

This is for my mom for mother's day. She has been told no visiting my SCS or blog until after Mother's day. Oh the suspense is going to kill her but I spent over 4 hours on this card so she will just have to wait to see it in person. :)

For the F4A376 challenge - It's CAS To Me For the MIX223 challenge - Showers and/or Flowers This wonderful image is a premade image that I received over 2 years ago in a teapot exchange. I am trying to push myself to use up stuff in my stash. It is tough for me to now want to add all kinds of stuff to a card and especially when I did not color the image so to me this is CAS for the F4A challenge. Cut the image down and rounded the corners of the layers. I also used up the bleeding hearts sitting on my desk. I thought with the hanging flowers on the image to add a bit of my touch I would add some hanging bleeding hearts. The hearts are from Heartfelt Creations, they are stamped and die cut and the colors sponged on and finished off with some stickles.

WT634 - May The 4th Be With "U" Happy Anniversary to my DH. This is his anniversary card. We love that our Anniversary is on May 4th. The image is from Lesley (marleygo). Thank you for the wonderful image. Colored the image with pencils and fussy cut it. Layered DP and the black on the white card base and popped the image on dimensionals. Added gems and the Happy Anniversary sentiment. Stamped the word You on the red CS and die cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. Sorry my picture is not that great. My DH takes my pictures and I could not have him take this one. Giggles!!!

The FS534 challenge - the very talented Kemernow Kandie. She has an amazing gallery and is always there to leave very wonderful comments on our cards. Congratulations!!!!! Enjoy your week! I chose this wonderful CARD. I kept with the WT622 challenge of Spunky Old Broads. I used this great image from my friend Jan (Precious Kitty). In Kandie's card she had the two strips of ribbon, I used 1 strip of black and cut out a lacy strip. I turned the image and used a textured EF rather than the DP and added a few sequins. Copics used: B000, B01, E00, E02. R20, R43, C1 & C3
