The WT632 challenge - We are celebrating Earth Day
This is another fun card I have created for my Aunt to give to my uncle next year. This Leaf Boy is so funny. It looks like he is hunting leaves.
Stamped the image and colored with copics. Then I dug in my bag of leaves and threw some on the card. Some are left over from adding distress inks and some are from cutting down card stock.
I love using up scraps. It is my own personal challenge. The yellow DP at the top and the black polka dot strip are both left over scraps.

Welcome Baby
FS532 challenge - featured stamper is Sue Drees aka NEEDMORESPACE and she has a wonderful gallery. I might have to go back to do another card. I chose this amazing CARD. I love the swirly layer so keeping with the wonderful decorative layer I did two decorative layers of lace using Gina Marie dies popped the second layer on dimensionals. I used the Green Duck embellishment that has the umbrella to go with the umbrella on the FS card and added a welcome banner. I finished the card off with some sequins.

Hello Friend!
The WT631 challenge - Aquarium
I just love these little House Mouse images and when I saw this challenge I just knew I wanted to use this image.
Stamped the image and colored with copics. As an added challenge to myself I used up some more leftover scraps in the upper right corner. Finished off with a button and bakers twine.
Funny thing about this card. As soon as I finished it and my sister saw it she loved it. She hates mice and eve images of cute mince line this one. When she said she loved this card I just had to give it to her to use.

Meow
For the IC592 challenge - We are exploring the brilliant blog of My Sweet Petunia. I found this wonderful CARD I loved the bold cat. I don't have a bold cat stamp but I have this bold cat die cut that I put in the center of the card. I used a footprint EF behind him and framed it in black to match the hand drawn black framing on the card. Finished off the card with the die cut word Meow and the die cut yarn. This is another card for my aunt. She asked me for 12 cards to give to her DH next year, one for every month. They both love cats and she wanted a cat card. I hope she likes this one. |
