Graduation Mouse
I needed a graduation card for my sweet nephew that spent a week helping
me move. I could not have done that week without his help. I just adore
this darling house mouse image and thought it was perfect for a
masculine graduation card. Colored the image with copics, added stickles
to him for some fun shine. Die cut the circle and layered. Used the
graduation EF on the top and some fun striped paper on the bottom.
Mounted on a black CS then the red card base.
Copics Used: 0, C1, R20, R24, R29, R39, E13, E15,E51 and Y13
Wild Birthday
Needing to do another masculine birthday this was the perfect
inspiration for my uncle who just loves being out in the world of
nature. I used a animal print DP to mirror the animal print on the
nails. Stamped the image and colored with copics. Die cut the image in a
circle and mounted on black. Stamped the sentiment and die cut that
also in a circle and on black. The scene on the brown was stamped twice
to get all the way across the card and it worked perfect. Then I mounted
that on black. The leaf started as a DP with cream and white. I die cut
the TH leaf, drew in the veins then added 4 different colors to the
leaf to add the colors and interest. Mounted all on the DP, then clack
and then craft card stock. I added a bit of interest to the top right
corner with a chevron and added three dots of liquid pearls.

Day Lily Birthday
This was so super fun to play with to do this card. I don't often get a chance to use the water coloring brush I have but today I drug it out to play. Using five Tim Holtz distress inks and my water color brush I colored this cute flower. Then adding some layers and the oval to draw the eye in I mounted the flower after adding some dimension and sponging some brown around the flower and stem to get the flower to pop. Finished the flower off with some stickles and liquid pearls.
Distress inks used: Wild Honey, Special Marmalade, Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn.
