80th Birthday Celebration

IC1076 - Ginger Blue Decor - INSPIRATION

USEIT2026 - Flowers

I had such a lovely time creating this special birthday card. I began by digging into my tote of items I am trying to use up, and I found a generous stack of flowers and leaves that felt perfect for a milestone celebration. It is always satisfying to give those saved pieces a new life, especially when they come together so beautifully on a finished card.

My inspiration featured lovely flowers, and I used that idea as the starting point for my own design. I arranged the blooms and greenery around the birthday greeting, adjusting the placement until everything felt balanced and full. The soft colors and layered petals created a gentle frame that draws the eye right to the sentiment, while the added number element gives the card a personal touch for this special 80th birthday.

Once the floral cluster was in place, the rest of the card came together naturally. The layered background papers add depth without overwhelming the design, and the dimension from the raised elements gives the whole piece a polished, finished look. It is always fun when inspiration and leftover supplies blend into something that feels both thoughtful and celebratory.

Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.
