I needed to use up these bird images that were in my stack of images needing colored and used. I colored them with pencils and cut out with die cuts.
I used DPs in today's colors and all from my scrap drawer.

This is for a cousin's daughter graduating in NY. I created a shaker card and added a bunch of sequins from my tote of items I am trying to use up. | IC803 - Shoe Sweet Lulu - I found this sweet Cookie I really love this happy elephant. My aunt collects elephants and this is just a perfect image for cards for her. I stamped the elephant and colored with copics. Fussy cut the elephant and shaped it with a flower shaping tool to add some dimension to it and added dimensionals. Die cut the leaf layer and added a pink heart for the pink in the elephant cookie. Finished off with the heat embossed sentiment. Wild About You |

I was listening to How Sweet it is to be Loved By You and through an anniversary card would be perfect for that song.
I had a few die cut bride and groom die cuts in my tote to use up. I die cut some hearts and pupped them up on dimensionals and sponged some yellow behind the die cut opening. Finished off with the Happy Anniversary sentiment.

This weeks Teapot Tuesday is perfect to use up this old image that has been in my pile for a very long time to get colored and used.
I colored the image, sponged some clouds and layered on some DP and added the sentiment.

| FS741 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stampepr is Heather Freeman, better known around here as heather freeman. I found this cute Snowflake Box I had a thought in my head for my son's graduation to make an exploding box and put pictures in it. I have been combing through pictures for a very long time looking for just the right pictures and also put pictures in from each of his school years. The main pictures are his school years and the secondary pictures are of his family members that have been a part of his growing up most of those family members have passed so this is how we are including them in his graduation. I used the Divinity Designs exploding box and cut the box in black and cut the matting layers in gold for his school colors. You ask why is this a 5 well let's just say that trying to get the images the right size and also include the pictures of those family members so that the image was recognizable is a huge challenge. Thankfully hubby still loves me after the hours it took him to help with these images. |
I am honored to host today's Clean and Simple challenge. Today we are adding silhouettes to our cards. I just love this cute skating snowman and thought he would be great added to a snowy scene.
I started by stamping the snowman and then I masked him. Then I used an old bauble stencil and stamped the tree silhouette in the stencil. I then sponged on the colors to create the scene in the stencil.
I then was inspired by the fern leaves and die cut a bunch of different leaves and layered the image over those leaves and popped the image on dimensionals.
I finished the card off with the 1 LINE EASTER BLESSINGS - 1029D.

| F4A581 - Sunshine USEIT2021 - Beach scene I needed to use this beach scene image from my stash of images that were stamped needing to be colored and added to cards and the Sunshine song was perfect to inspire the way I colored it. I masked a circle then sponged the sky and added orange toward the center. I used a copic for the water and then cut out the oval and mounted on dimensionals and finished with the birthday sentiment on the Ombre designer paper. Sunshine Birthday |

When I saw the WTUI challenge I remembered I had this cute dog and cat image in my stack of images I needed to get colored and used on a card. I actually had 2 of them so I colored them both up and made 2 cards.
Once colored I used a wonky die cut border to cut the layer and added some designer paper under it.

This was really fun to make. I stamped the Tails Up Bunny and colored it with copics. I then stamped the ONE LINE HAPPY EASTER - 665B and die cut the sentiment and bunny. I left the sentiment in the die cut and sponged some purple while it was in the die cut.
I then used some coordinating papers and die cut a plaid background to match the colors in the image and the die cut sentiment.
The card was finished with some sequins.

I heat embossed the white base layer for this card.
I also created another grad card using the same layout as yesterday's card but black and gold colors for my son's school.
I added the Congrats die cut sentiment and the velum has hearts.
This is for my son from my Aunt Chris who asked me to make a few graduation cards for family members that are graduating this year.
