Valentine

SC997 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used a great heart set from Archiver's that I have had for many years and never used. I stamped the hearts then used a black glitter heat emboss. I added some punched lace in black and finished with a black ribbon and some red pearls.

This was very hard to photograph as the black designer paper layer is very shiny. My son snagged this card for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day.

Howdy Valentine

CAS781 - Starry Night

For my card, I stamped the fun cowgirl image from DRS Designs and colored her with copics. I then created a starry night using distress inks and a white gel pen.

The card was finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

80th Birthday

FS888 - This week's incredible featured stamper is Deb aka debhorst. I found this INSPIRATION.

My aunt asked me for an 80th birthday card and the large numbers on Deb's card was the push I needed to get this put together.

For the card base, I used a Spellbinders pillow emboss folder and I added a touch or red around the edge of the orange panel.

I used the Spellbinders stitched numbers and cut the 80 out. I then used a floss that has orange, yellow, pink and red in it to stitch the numbers. The numbers are popped up on dimensionals.

Next, I cut several flowers from Be Bold and added some dimensionals behind them and finished a couple off with some orange sequins. I added a few other sequins and finished with the Tim Holtz birthday sentiment.

This is my second card today. I hope you get a chance to check out the Valentine card I made earlier.

Valentine Hearts

FS887 - last week's featured stamper Polly aka pblibby has a really wonderful gallery. I found this INSPIRATION.

I loved the beautiful gold and pink paper on Polly's paper.

For my card I went with a black DP and added gold to it. Then I used several shades of reds to layer the hearts and added more gold to the arrow.

The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals.

USEIT2024 - Image and Thank You sentiment

For my card, I found this really fun kitty in my stack of images needing to be colored and used. I colored it with copics then fussy cut it.

I also found this great Thank You sentiment in my tote and thought it would be perfect for adding to this image.

I cut the paper layers from my scraps and layered popping the image and sentiment up on dimensionals and finishing the card with a few red pearls.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Wallets Coming Out

WT987 - Funny Card

For my card, I pulled out one of my trusty Art Impression images that is always good for a giggle. I stamped and then colored the image with copics.

I stamped the fun sentiment and tucked it under a die-cut clip board as if we were seeing what the doctor was reading on his clipboard.
