Teacup

 WT983 - Tea Dye

For my card, I used tea to color the tan embossed layer. I was so surprised how easy it was to color paper with tea.

Once the layer was dry I embossed it. I then stamped the teacup, colored it with copics and added a few flowers from my stash finishing them with some yellow pearls.

House Mouse Birthday

SC992 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used this cute House Mouse image and colored it with copics. I dug in my scrap drawer and created a bunch of banners with colors in the image that also coordinated with this DP.

The card was finished with a birthday sentiment as my son's girlfriend needed a birthday card for her brother who plays tennis.

Cow Birthday

CAS776 - Masculine Birthday

I love this fun cow from DRS Designs. I stamped it on brown cardstock and colored it with copics. I added a fun birthday sentiment under it and cut out the layer with a Gina Marie die cut.

Birthday Girl

FS883 - This week's incredibly talented featured stamper is Lou Ann (aka Crooked Stamper). I found this INSPIRATION.

USEIT2024 - Image and Brads

I needed to use up this image from my stack of images. It is my goal for 2024 to complete using these images. I also needed to use up more items from my tote. These brads are all from my tote and I thought they are great accents for this image.

I used several green scraps and created lines across my card front as the strips under the image were a great starting point for my card.

I then added the image colored with copics and added the brads. I finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Welcome Pup

USEIT2024 - Image

For my card, my inspiration was the little dog wearing the sweater. I had this cute dog wearing a sweater in my stack of images to use up. I colored it in red like the image and fussy cut it. I added a couple of fun papers and the banner with a couple of die cut dog bowls.

The card was finished with the welcome banner and a few candy dots.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Napkin Birthday

WT982 - Napkins

I realized that I have a huge amount of napkins in my craft room that several friends and family have given me. For this card I used a napkin from my husband's aunt. I showed her years ago how to attach napkins to cards and she went out and bought a bunch of napkins and sent me a large selection. I love so many of them.

This card was very quick. I attached the napkin, added the birthday sentiment and finished with a few mirror gems.

Masculine Birthday

USEIT2024 - Image

I am getting close to having the stack of images colored and used up. It has been a goal to get them all used, and I had hoped to finish last year. Alas I ran out of time, so I am not adding a new crafty goal to my 2024 as I still have 2, I am trying to finish.

My two goals is to finish using up items that are in a tote on my desk. I have been working on this tote for the last 4 years. It is very slowly getting cleared out but there is still a long way to go. My 2nd goal is to finish coloring and using up a stack of images that were either stamped and sent to me or I stamped or printed off to color. It was out of control, and I am nearly done with using them up.

For this card I used this gun image and colored it with pencils. I then cut the layers and added some silver mirror card stock. The card was finished with a few red pearls.

My nephew is in school to be a gunsmith, so this card is perfect for him.
