Herringbone Birthday

FS812 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Sandye Curry aka sgc. I have been a longtime fan of her work for many years. I found this wonderful INSPIRATION.

I love the scrappy strips she used on her card. They remind me of the herringbone technique using paper strips to create the background on your card.

I have been trying to build up my birthday card stash so at the end of the year when family and friends put in their requests for cards I have a supply built up. My MIL is a quilter and this is perfect to add to her stash.

I grabbed my pink scraps and created the herring bone technique then layered it on a pink card stock. I then added some pink ribbon, popped the sentiment up on dimensionals and finished with some flowers from my stash of already punched flowers.

Halloween Napkin Card

IC873 - Peanuts Worldwide Pinterest boards where I found this INSPIRATION.

I have had this napkin for a very long time and the inspiration was perfect for me to pull it out and make a very quick Halloween card.

Once glued I stamped and die cut the sentiment layers and popped it up on dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

Celebrate

F4A653 - Frame It

USEIT2022 - Celebrate velum sentiment

I needed to use this velum sentiment and framing it is a great way to attach it without glue showing.

For the balloons I sponged silver on black cardstock then added the sentiment and finished with some sequins.

Christmas School Bus

WT911 - cars and trucks and things that go

For my card I used my school bus die cut to create a few Christmas cards for my sister. She is a school bus mechanic and every year I make a new Christmas card with this die cut school bus for her to pass out to her co-workers.

This year I paired the bus with a string of Christmas lights and finished the front off with a bow.

I have made this bus for my sister for several years. If you would like to see some of the the variations of it you can check them out on my splitcoaststampers.com link HERE.

USEIT2022 - Bow

I have been working hard at clearing out some papers from my scrap drawer and found this piece of napkin leftover. I paired it with another fall-colored designer paper then cut the other layers and finished with the die cut bird, some falling leaves the bow and a few scattered gems.

Thinking of You

MMTPT735 - R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. with a Twist - my twist item is paper.

For my color I used several shades of purples from my scrap drawer and cut them with a sunbeam die cut. I then glued and finished with the sentiment and some purple candy dots.

Season's Greetings

CAS704 - Berries

I went with Holly Berries for my card.

I stamped the image from DRS Designs on watercolor paper then loosely colored it with watercolor.

Once dry, I cut the layers and mounted.
