Easter Chick

CAS682 - Yellow as primary color

I just had to use this cute little chick. It is so fun to color.

For the card front I stamped inside of an emboss folder and used that as my stamp to create the chicken wire.

Next, I stamped the sentiment and chick and colored the chick with copics. I then die cut the openings and popped the front panel up on dimensionals.

Thank You

FS789 - Today's incredibly talented Featured Stamper Katchoo1 also known as Colleen. What a wonderful gallery. I found this INSPIRATION.

I have been trying to use up a bunch of my smaller designer paper scraps and Colleen's card was perfect inspiration. Rather than doing the technique I left my scraps a bit larger but still created panels with the scraps. I added some ribbon and die cut a couple of fish.

I finished with the thank you sentiment as my niece asked for a few thank you cards.

Butterfly Birthday

IC850 - Fine Art America where I was inspired by THIS

USEIT2022 - Butterfly

I am still trying to use up a bunch of butterflies from my tote and today's challenge is perfect to use this butterfly.

I cut the layers, stamped the sentiment, added the butterfly sticker and finished with some nuvo drops.

Remembering

F4A630 - Hello Spring

I learned a dear friend lost her daughter and her son saw a yellow butterfly and thought it was her daughter. Her daughter also loved Callalily's and I just had to make this card for her.

I die cut the butterfly base then created the easel card and die cut it again for the top layer.

Next, I stamped the butterfly on yellow and die cut that then added the lacy die cut butterfly on top.

The flowers were in my drawer already made up waiting for cards. (I like making a few in advance to make my card making quick when I need a fast card for such an occasion).

The remembering sentiment my son wrote. He taught himself calligraphy and is really good and very handy when I need a sentiment that I don't own.

MIX477 - Sew What

USEIT2022 - Cat Fabric

I have a few of these cat pieces of fabric in my tote with dancing cats and they are perfect for the challenge.

I traced with a pencil the cat image using my light box to see them. I then used my scan and cut to cut out the image from the top layer.

Next, I sponged the edge with pink distress oxide ink and added the sentiment.

I then glued the cat to the card base and glued the window over the fabric.

Pet Cards

WT888 - Use gold

USEIT2022 - pet paper clips

I needed to use up a large stack of pet paper clips and they were perfect for the challenge. I used a bunch of scrap designer paper and trimmed up the cards. I then added some grosgrain ribbon and added the paper clips to the ribbon.

I finished the cards off with some of the sentiments that are used for my pet donation cards.

Deepest Sympathy

SC897 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

I have been sorting and trying to use up scrap papers from my stash and this sketch is perfect for using some papers.

I cut the layers and added the black to add a bit of interest to the strips. I then stamped the paw print and the sympathy sentiment.

This is headed to my monthly pet card donations.
