Army Thinking of You

MMTPT856 - Tear or Stitch

CC1031 - Basic White, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade (I realized after I loaded my card for the Teapot Tuesday challenge that I have the colors for the color challenge this week.) Also, I have the dessert for something new as this is a new roll of baker's twine also in the colors.

For my card, I used this great Army stamp from DRS Designs. They have now closed but I still love using their images.

I stamped the image in navy blue then layered it. I added some red, white and blue bakers twine popping the image up on dimensionals.

For the torn edge, I used scissors that create the effect of torn edges on the blue polka dot paper layer. The card was finished with a few scattered stars and the sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Santa Hat

CAS825 - Glitter

CCC24DEC - Complete Collection

If anyone wants to know my favorite stamp image, it is this Santa hat. It is PBX and I don't know where I picked it up but whenever I get a chance to use it, I love it on any and every card I make.

Ok, enough about my favorite stamp. For this card, I stamped the image and sentiment then colored the hat in reds with copics. I then added a few bits of stickles with red and green glitter and added a bit of clear stickle glitter to the hat.

Furever in Your Heart

WT1031 - Stencils - use 2 or more different stencils

For my card, I used 3 stencils. I placed the puppy stencil down first then used the first stencil for the rainbow then used the second stencil that goes between with the other colors to complete the rainbow.

I finished the card with the sentiment and matted the image on black card stock.

This will be another of my pet donation cards. I am a bit behind in creating them and this is a really quick one and perfect for some fast pet sympathy cards.

Sunflower Birthday

SC1040 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I pulled out a couple of coordinating orange papers and cut down the green base layer adding a strip of green between the designer papers.

Next, I die cut the stitched sunflower from Spellbinders and added sponging to the center of the flower. I then added gold stitching to the flower and brown to the center.

The sentiment is popped up on dimensionals and a few sequins were added.

MMTPT855 - Cat Thinking of You

For my card, I pulled out some cat designer paper that has designs on the front and back. I created this fold called Z Box fold or Double Z Fold. You can find a tutorial HERE.

Once the layers were cut I added the die cut kitty and sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Stitched Ornament

CAS824 - Christmas Card

For my card, I used this great stitched ornament from Spellbinders. I stitched it with silver floss then added silver designer paper for the accents and finished it with a few gems.

The ornament and sentiment are popped up on dimensionals and the base is a stitched snowflake cover plate.
