Herringbone Birthday Card

IC985 - Fine Art Canvas - Inspiration

For my card, I pulled out my red scrap papers and cut down the pieces all the same width to create the herringbone pattern for the base. I layered it on white cardstock and a pink card base,

The birthday wishes sentiment was stamped in red and popped up on dimensionals and the card was finished with several pink mirror gems.

Ephemera Birthday Card

WT1023 - Ephemera

USEIT2024 - Ephemera

I have a pack of ephemera in my tote that needs used up and this challenge was just the push to pull it out and make a card. I layered the green designer paper that is the same pattern as the pocked piece that was in the ephemera packet.

I added the birthday sentiment to the front of the pocket piece and added a few heart stickers to the top of the pocket and the flower sticker to the front.

Pooh Birthday

SC1032 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I layered the card base with a beehive paper then added a strip of wood paper. I extended and added a few layers to create the treetop and added the birthday sentiment.

I finished the card with Pooh sitting in the tree. He is a cute die cut from Impression Obsession that I had to pick up before they closed. I am really going to miss them.

Butterfly

MMTPT847 - Mixed Media MariLynn - Inspiration

For my card, I die cut this great butterfly from Spellbinders and created the shaped card. I layered with designer paper that I added distress ink sponging around the edges.

Next, I die cut several flowers, leaves and butterflies. I layered each of the pieces. For 2 of the flowers and the body of the butterfly I added some Heidi Swapp Tea Stain.

I finished the card with several scattered pearls.

For my card, I die cut the layers, added some white acrylic paint to the layers and sponged purple on the heart.

The cat was die cut out of black, added white paint then added a hint of purple sponging to it. I then added some purple sponging around the birthday sentiment.

Welcome Pup

WT1022 - Kraft

For my card, I stamped this cute pup image from Penny Black on kraft and colored it with pencils. I then die cut the layers, added the paw print paper and finished with some sequins.
