Sorry for Your Loss

SC952 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card I used a scrap paper to create the sun rays on the card base. Next, I die cut the clouds, sun, dog and bowl and layered adding dimensionals to some of the layers.

I finished with the sentiment and a few Nuvo Drops.

This is another of my pet donation cards.

I was asked about the dog die cut. It is an older die cut from Amy Designs.

Quilty Hello

MMTPT767 - Favorite Technique / Style

NAR23VSNG - Leftovers

Recently I have focused my style to use up a large amount of scrap papers. It has really been fun looking for ways to use up some of the scraps.

For this card I dug out my yellows because yellow is a very happy color and I thought it would be perfect for this week's recipient. I created the herringbone technique on the base then finished with the Hello sentiment and a few scattered flowers.

Mothers Day

CAS736 - Bird Watching - use a bird image.

For my card I stamped a couple of branches with birds and a bird house and colored them with copics. I used this super fun new Mother's Day sentiment from DRS Designs to finish the card.

Cozy Warm and Bright

FS843 - This week's incredibly talented FS is Karen Hartikainen. I found this gorgeous INSPIRATION.

MAR23VSNB - Mixed Greens

MAR23VSNG - Leftovers

CCC23APR - Boxes

I love using scraps on my cards and Karen's card is perfect to pull out some scraps. I decided to do Christmas rather than Easter and instead of a full herringbone background I did just the top portion.

I added the sentiment in green to the bottom and finished with a few silver glitter snowflakes.

Thank You Cards

MAR23VSNI - Veggie

USEIT2023 - Image

I needed to use up this image from my stack of images and it is perfect for this Virtual Stamp Night challenge. It was colored with pencils and then I used several scrap papers from my orange and yellows to create the layout.

I finished with stamping the thank you sentiment in orange and added a sprinkle of orange sequins.

Veggie Thanks

MAR23VSNN - 7 Layer Dip - use 7 layers on your project

USEIT2023 - Flower Bow & dog image

For my card I used several papers to create the layers and used a dog image from my stack of images I am trying to color and get used up.

I finished with a row of hearts from my bag of hearts, added the flower bow and popped the thanks up on dimensionals.

Pup Thanks 2

Cherry Pie Dessert

MAR23VSNM - Recipe Card

For my recipe card I grabbed my pie die cuts and created a pie on the front. I then added a cherry to the top and put the ingredients to a blue-ribbon cherry pie dessert on the recipe card.

This is headed to my son and his girlfriend as they are learning to cook, and I thought I would send them a good one for their recipes.

21st Birthday Margaritta

MAR23VSNG - Leftovers - on July 22, 2021 I posted a card where I cut a bunch of papers to create this fun scrappy background. Well I thought it was time to use up more of those scraps.

I created this with all pastel scraps then die cut the pink flower and green leaf out of scraps from my scrap drawers.

The card was finished with the birthday tag tucked under the flower.
