Scrappy Birthday

 

FS835 - This week's very talented Featured Stamper is our sweet friend Janine. I have so many of her cards in my favorites and just love to see what she posts. I chose this amazing card as my INSPIRATION.

For my card I grabbed my black designer paper scraps and die cut a bunch of circles.

Rather than putting them on a black card base I layered them on a white card base so they would stand out more but I did use black as a layer.

Once glued, I sprinkled several gems. I also used a birthday sentiment as Janine used a birthday sentiment on her card.

IC896 - Running with Sisters & Pinterest here is my INSPIRATION

USEIT2023 - Fish brads

I need to use up some brads from my tote of items and the inspiration was perfect for me to bring these out. For the base I used some Nuvo Mousse and a fish stencil. I then added the brads and stamped the sentiment finishing the sentiment strip with another fish brad.

F4A676 - Shadow

I am working on a few pet donation cards and thought this image was perfect to color up for the challenge. It already has a shadow represented in the image.

I colored the image with copics, die cut the sentiment and added a punched heart from my bag of punched hearts from scrap papers.

Today would have been my grandma's birthday. She loved bunnies so this challenge is perfect to honor her memory. I colored up this image that was in my stack of images with copics and layered on card stock. It was already on an embossed paper so I just left it to let the panel do all the work.

I feel I cheated with the challenge as my designer paper has subtle dots along with the bold stripes. :) For my card I used up this image that was in my stack of images and colored her with copics. I then cut the layers, stamped the sentiment and finished with a few scattered gold pearls.

CAS727 - Bubbles

I wanted to try to create my own bubbles. I am so thrilled at how these came out. I followed this YouTube tutorial Anyone Can Draw this: Bubbles. 

Once the bubbles were drawn, I heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment from DRS Designs in white.
