Happy Thanksgiving

F4A657 - Fall Scene

I have had this napkin for a very long time in my craft room and thought it had a great scene for the challenge.

I used stick glue to adhere it to card stock then glued that to the card front.

The card was finished with the Thanksgiving sentiment from Trinity Stamps.

Farm Birthday

WT915 - Down on the Farm (The first Farm Aid concert is held in Champaign, Illinois) - farm scenes, tractors, farm animals, Old McDonald

One of the great things about all the new die cuts out is we can use them to create fun cards and use up some of the mountain of scraps in our stash. This entire card was made using cardstock scraps and I just love how it came out.

I cut all the pieces then for the card base I sponged green and blue. Once everything was cut I added a bit of sponging to a few of the pieces and layered.

I finished it with the birthday sentiment to help build my birthday card stash.

Birthday Girl

SC924 - this week's sketch

USEIT2022 - Image & Corner brackets

I am trying to color up and use a stack of images from my desk and this one was too cute and needed some color. I colored her with copics then cut the layers.

While layering I found these corner brackets in my tote of items to use and they just worked for framing this image.

The card was finished with a birthday sentiment to help build up my stash of birthday cards.

Thinking of you

MMTPT739 - butterflies and car shows use vellum on your card

I have a small bit of this very old heart vellum paper and thought it would work great in a window. I actually created 2 of this card, so I could send one to a friend as well as the teapot Tuesday destination station.

I cut the vellum and placed it under the window then overlaid it over the purple card stock.

I then die cut the butterflies in blue and sponged the edges purple.

The card was finished with the purple sentiment.

Coffee and Friends

CAS708 - Best Friend

I love going out for coffee with my friends and this is a perfect image for sending to a friend to ask out for coffee.

For the image I stamped it in grey then colored it with light copic colors. Next, I layered velum over the image and stamped the sentiment in black stazon over the velum.

I finished the card with a few flowers and sprigs from my desk and added nuvo drops to the flower centers.

Shoe Birthday

FS815 - This week's amazing featured stamper is Carol aka (Carol Dee). Her gallery is full of tons of inspiration. I found this INSPIRATION

USEIT022 - Shoe Paper

This background shoe paper is a coloring page that was in my tote to use up. I cut it down to card size and found there was one shoe left over that I could color. I colored it with copics then fussy cut it for the card front and layered adding the birthday sentiment.

Thinking of You

IC876 - Pumpkin Spice Pinterest Board - here is my INSPIRATION

I am trying to use up a bunch of scrap papers and today's inspiration I was drawn to the colors. I thought these scrap papers were perfect for my inspiration and I quickly created a Thinking of You card adding a bit of black to the layers to have them pop on the card.
