"Brew"tiful Day

CAS676 - ICE - use the letters in your card

    I = Ink

    C = Coffee

    E = Emboss

I stamped the coffee cup from DRS Designs and colored with copics. I then cut the layers and heat embossed the sentiment and popped the sentiment up on dimensionals finishing with a few sequins.

Glitter Hearts

FS783 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper Rose Reynolds. Her gallery is full of amazing inspiration. I found this INSPIRATION.

The little heart paper made me think of valentine hearts and I needed to get a few more made. I found this floral paper that looked similar to the little flowers on Rose's card and used that rather than heart paper. I cut the layers then added the sentiment and a couple of large glitter hearts.

Happy Valentine's Day

IC844 - Wallsauce & Pinterest Boards - I was inspired by this Wallpaper

USEIT2022 - Hearts

I needed to use up a bunch of already punched hearts from my tote of items and the all over hearts on the wallpaper was perfect inspiration.

I popped all the hearts up on dimensionals. Once the hearts were added I heat embossed the sentiment and layered it on the hearts.

Happy Valentine's Day

F4A624 Unusual or Different Design

For me, doing a smaller than A2 is very different for me. I actually have these cards bases that I have been collecting for over a year because I just can't seem to make smaller than A2. This challenge pushed me to use them.

I needed a few more Valentine's Day cards and recently purchased this die cut from Simon Says Stamps. I sponged ombre' red to pink on the top card then cut it and glued it to an embossed card base. I finished it with some punched hearts.

The second card I cut several different shades of pinks and used it for both the second and 3rd card. On the second card I added some sponging around the edge and on the 3rd I left it white.

For all 3 cards I heat embossed the sentiments on black card stock and pupped them up in dimensionals.

 WT882 - Bargello or Herringbone Technique

I really wanted to try the Bargello technique and have been sorting through my paper scraps. This technique is perfect for scrappy cards.

I cut the strips, glued to a card stock, cut them again and then glued to another card stock layer. I then die cut the layers, stamped the sentiment and added this cute pup from my friend Polly (peeps321 - thank you Polly).

This is for my monthly pet donation.

Many Thanks

Thinking of You

MMTPT706 - use a card making technique that you love to do…Share what brings you joy.

Recently I have found a lot of joy clearing out a bunch of scrap papers. It is a great feeling to use up smaller scraps to help clear out my smaller bits.

For this background I cut a bunch of my green designer papers with a diamond die cut then glued them to a cardstock layer. I then die cut that layer with a decorative border and layered on the card.

I finished the card with a die cut flower, popped the sentiment up on dimensionals and added a couple of gems to the flower.
