Week of May 27th Cards

FS590 - Today's featured stamper is Sylvia aka Zylvia and I found this wonderful Card.

I was inspired by the colors on the card and created this card for my friend that had to put down their faithful friend. Stamped the leash and die cut it layering the pieces. Stamped the sentiment and die cut it with the bone shape and sponged the edges. Die cut his name and layered the CS.

This is going to the friend that I do all my pet sympathy card donations. He sends them out to so many and I thought he needed one for his pup.

CAS483 - Remembering - a couple of years ago my sister had a birthday party for her little guy and she got a bounce house. Now that is fun but what was funny was she set it up in her living room. It seriously took up the entire room.

So here is a birthday card for her other little guy for this year with a bounce house on the front.

This bounce house was in my stack of stuff to use up. It is a giant sticker. Super fast card cut down the layers and added the sticker.

Stamped the Heartfelt Creations rose and sponged on the purples and greens, die cut and layered on the Heartfelt Creations corner die cut. Stamped the sentiment on a tag and added some additional green leaves. Finished off with the ribbon.

I can't get enough of this super cute Heggie / Porcupine image. I really think it is just too cute. Stamped the image on craft and colored with pencils. Finished off with the sentiment popped on dimensionals.

I am trying to put together the stacks of card kits I purchased from Heartfelt Creations as they are taking up a lot of room in my craft cave and really just need to be made so I can use them. This is from one of the great kits. They come stamped and cut and all you have to do is color flowers, shape and layer. When I need quick cards these are totally super quick since they are already stamped and cut.

Colored the flowers and package, shaped and layered. Sponged the edge of the frame and layered on dimensionals. added the sentiment with some sponging. Shaped the flowers, added prills and layered. Finished off with some glitter.

IC652 - Caron's Beach House where I found this great Pillow.

I needed to get my next set of pet sympathy donation cards made and today's inspiration was so perfect.

I liked the blue wave behind the pup. Used 3D paint to color on the blue and die cut the dogs. Finished off with the sentiment and a few nuvo drops.

 FS589 - Wanda but she's known around here as wendy2512.

I found this incredible CARD.

My husband's co-worker asked for an anniversary card and when I saw the FS card I just knew that was what I wanted for the anniversary inspiration.


I embossed the base layer and layered in pink on the base. Then I stamped and layered the sentiment. Finished off with some green ivy and flowers with nuvo drops.

 MMTPT513 - Honorary teapotter

Used this great teapot die cut that Jan (Precious Kitty) sent me, die cut the white border and layered purple with white heat embossed sentiment. Tied the bow and added flowers coming out of the teapot. Finished the flowers off with white nuvo drops.

Stamped the magazine page with a spool of thread image and heat embossed with Gold. Cut down the layers and stamped the sentiment.

The magazine page is a quilt image and up close you can see the quilt pattern. My MIL is a quilter and she let me borrow her magazine to take a page so it was only fitting that I made her a card for her stash with a sewing theme. :)

IC651 - Walls Need Love - I found this great Removable Wallpaper .

I loved the rows of hearts on the wallpaper. Punched several hearts in white then one in red. Sponged the red heart with a bit of black to give it some dimension in color. Put all the hearts on dimensionals, stamped the sentiment and finished the red heart with a gem.

 MMTPT512 - Sending Comfort

For me anything blue is comforting. I love the color and any time I see it on a card it is comforting to me.

This image was sent to me in an exchange. I colored it with copics and added nuvo drops to the flower centers. Cut down the image and layered on some teal and added some strips of DP. Finished off with the sentiment.

WT688 - Spotlight on Silhouettes

Sponged with distress oxides the sunset colors. Stamped the Unity image. Used this great fairy silhouette that Miss Susie sent me in a tea party exchange. Thanks Susie. I also layered her and did not glue the wings down on the second layer of her so that the wings open.

Week of May 6th

I have had to hold off on posting cards to my blog because several were for Mother's day and birthdays and I needed to make sure people did not see them. So getting caught up this week.

 FS587 - Congratulations to Connie {aka Conniecrafter} on being our Featured Stamper this week! I found this CARD.

I love the card on an angle and ran with the layout. I needed a few cards and this was a great way to make a few different cards with the same great layout.

Grabbed my scrap paper bin and cut down the DP. Layered the card and added the ribbon as Connie had hers however I did not add the tied bow. I also did not add an image I added flowers from my stash of punched flowers that I am trying to use up. I trimmed the ribbon with paper punched lace and added nuvo drops to the center of the flowers.

This was great to make a few cards with this layout and the layout and layering makes for a wonderful card for any occasion. I added a birthday sentiment, wedding sentiment and mother's day sentiment to each of the three cards.

Stamped the sentiment and layered on dimensionals, stamped the flowers, colored, layered and shaped. Added prills. Layered the Dp and distressed the edges finished off with the ribbon and bow.

Stamped the Presious Kitty Creations apple them masked and stamped the super cute Dare 2 B Artzy image. Colored with copics. Cut down layers and added additional DP banners. Finished off with the paw print button.

IC649 - Vineyard Marketplace is our inspiration today and I found this super cute DRESS.

I loved the texture in the top of the dress. Running with that I embossed the purple CS and stamped the Unity image then colored her with copics. Die cut the edge and layered on the embossed purple layer. Finished off with ribbon and sentiment.

This image is a free on line coloring image. Printed it and colored with copics and die cut the layers. added some flowers from my desk and nuvo drops and popped the image on dimensionals.

 WT686 - Patterned Paper - This patterned paper was left for me as a housewarming gift from the previous homeowner. It was so sweet of her to leave me a bunch of great paper and I am starting to use some of it. I have had this paper for 2 years.

SCSCCMAY18 - May 2018 Christmas Challenge
Stamped this great Riley image and colored with copics. Used a couple of pieces of DPs for the layers and die cut a large snowflake. Finished off with two different stickers from my stash of stuff I am trying to use up in 2018.

IC648 - Grandinroad where I found this great Picture.
USEIT2018 - My crafty goal for 2018 is to use stuff up. These Spellbinders dies are the last of a bunch that a friend sent me and I needed to get them used up.
Layered the dies with the black at the top and black around the center of the large square. Since I did not have the die cut I had to fussy cut the pieces.
Stamped this perfect sentiment stamp from Dare 2 B Artzy. It is my go to stamp for pet sympathy cards. Die cut several different dogs and added to the card fronts.
I donate around 200 pet sympathy cards a year small local shop. I needed to add a few more to their stash so these are headed to the little shop.
