Week of August 6th Cards

IC610 - the Houzz website where I found this fantastic Artwork.

This medallion was sent to me from a friend. I fussy cut it and the acorn and framed it on a textured EF frame added a ribbon and some DP leaves. Finished off with a sentiment and the button. The medallion and sentiment are on dimensionals.

SC657 - Cleaning out more of the stamped off images I have I colored this amazing eagle with pencil. 

Looking in my stash I also pulled out the two DPs from my scraps.

The ribbon came from my mom and I think once she sees this card she is going to swoon over it. 

The white base is embossed with a star EF.

This fantastic Unity image was sent to me from a friend. Colored her with pencil & Gamsol. Die cut the new sled from Heartfelt Creations from a book page and sponged on some brown. Mounted the sled on dimensionals and added some glitter snow on the image and the sled.

WT648 - Let's Go Faux

Used the Faux Leather technique to create the base. Stamped the Unity image and colored with copics. Used a stitched die cut on the border edge. Finished off with the sentiment on dimensionals and stickles on the hearts.

IC609 - Tropical Inspiration: I found this fantastic Image. I loved the CAS of the image and the different leaves. I grabbed this leaf that was sent to me from a fellow SCS friend in a Teapot exchange. Sponged blue at the top and stamped the sentiment. Sponged the leaf a light green color and finished off with some sequins.

Just a Note

FS548 is the amazing gallery of Donna Wicks, better known as D.Daisy. I found this super CARD. I loved the large flag and layout on the card. Using yellow as the base layer and a textured EF rather than DP. Changed the shape of the focus panel and put a Dragon fly. Moved the ribbon to the top and added a button.

These fun clouds, umbrella and large sentiment pieces were sent to me from a friend. I added the heart in red on the umbrella and shaped the umbrella and clouds. Popped some dimensionals on the pieces and sponged the clouds. Finished off with the unity sentiment

Stamped the Sea Horse from Heartfelt Creations and sponged pink and purple on him. Used Brushos for the BG both aqua and royal blue. Stamped the sentiment and mounted. Finished off the sea horse with stickles on dimensionals.

DTGD17Ashjoy Stamped the image and colored with pencils & gamsol. Due cut the layers and stamped the sentiment. Punched the stars out of gold DP. The black looking layer is a black shimmer spray and once dry I embossed.

Used my cricut to cut the lion and used a scrap black and tore off the edge. Sponged in the BG.

Stamped the sentiment and die cut. Punched a bunch of scraps in the colors of the rainbow and put on the CS. Then ran it through with an EF. Finished off with a few music notes and the sentiment of Just a Note.

You ask why this is a FIVE??? Well when I went to get the purple paper there was a spider in the scrap drawer. A BIG SPIDER. He was staring me down. I had to wait for my boys to get home to rescue me so I could get the purple paper.

Love this die cut. I received this from Polly some time ago and just love it. I have it on my wish list.

I did an ombre effect on the back ground and added some purple dots with paint around the flowers. Finished off with the sympathy sentiment and liquid pearls

This fun rooster was sent to me from Jan (Precious Kitty). I have a friend that has a rooster and she is always posting that it scares her. She is an animal groomer so I am cracking up that this animal scares her. Oh the stories. So when I saw Jan's card with her rooster I had to make a card with a rooster for the friend. Her husband is going to give this to her so that is why the XOXO sentiment.

Hand Drawn 2nd Anniversary

Hand drew this image for my niece and nephew for their 2nd anniversary. She wanted this couple and she wanted their hands to be a piece symbol as that is a 2 for their 2nd anniversary. Used papers left from making their wedding cards and punched out some hearts and a cherub. Added a punched in silver 2 and some dimensionals under the second heart. Finished off with flowers punched from their left over red and purple paper from the wedding invitations and liquid pearls.

The image was colored with copics to match the image colors from this animated set of characters. Sorry I do not know their names just that my niece wanted it and I created it for her. :)
