FS1010 - This week's Featured Stamper is 2000MOMREY (Suzanne) - I found this INSPIRATION.
I started with the rich purple and black combination that always feels so striking for a Halloween design, and I pulled a piece of purple designer paper from the stack I am working through this year. For the webs, I used the stitched web die from Poppy Stamps, cutting it from black cardstock and tucking pieces into a few spots to echo the feel of my inspiration.
I followed that by die cutting the witch and her little cat from Gina Marie Designs, giving them a bit of lift with dimensionals so they stand out against the background. To finish the card, I added this fun sentiment from DRS Designs with a birthday sentiment layered beneath it, popped both up on dimensionals for extra depth, and completed the design with a scattering of purple pearls that tie the whole look together.
Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.

A beautiful card Lisa. The black diecuts look stunning against the bright pink background.

Very creative, Lisa!!!
ReplyDeleteCan see this was yesterday, just popped up on my reading list after today's share, clearly Blogger's still got issues. Loving the contrasts of hot pink and black, makes for such a striking colour palette.
