I think if I were going to splurge, I would absolutely treat myself to several pets. I adore my kitties, and it has been many years since I have had a dog, so the idea of a little furry crew makes me smile.
For my card, I pulled out this fun Spellbinders die cut set and started by cutting all the layers. I added silver floss stitching to the purse, which gives it such a charming handmade touch and a bit of shine. Once everything was assembled, I layered the finished piece over some patterned paper from my stash that I am determined to use up this year, then mounted it on pink cardstock to echo the pink in the purse.
To finish the card, I added a birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals along with several pink sequins that tie the whole design together and bring out the playful feel of the purse.

We only have cats now too, after our last dog passed we decided on just having cats. He is a cutie and I do love the stitching on the purse, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the cute little pup in the fancy purse. We have a small furry crew, my Daughter and Son both live with me due to ill health, they both have a dog, Daughter also has a little cat and I just have two cats after losing our dog 2 yrs ago.
