IC1072 - Collage Quilter - INSPIRATION
I love the bull in the inspiration piece and went searching through my collection for a bull of my own, finding this fun image from Art Impressions. I colored him with Copics, die cut the layers, and paired him with a piece of country style designer paper from my stash that I am working to use up this year. The panel is layered on white and then on a black card base for a clean, bold frame.
To highlight both the bull and the playful sentiment, I mounted them on black cardstock, then finished the card with a few green gems to echo the touch of green on his birthday hat.
Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.
Absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card and great design to put a smile on someone's face!
ReplyDeleteI've just realise the post below I just visited was Wednesday, literally only just on my reading list, Blogger really must get the problem sorted. The backing DP with the working horse very much appeals along with the ?/Highland Cow.
