IC770 - Pippin Poppycock where I found these great COLORS
They seemed the perfect starting point for my scarecrow. I stamped the scarecrow and colored him with copics. Then I fussy cut him. The BG was stamped with the cornstalk and then the fence was added. Next I sponged the clouds and added copics for the grass.
I finished with the Happy Fall Ya'll sentiment and layered the papers.
F4A550 - Apples
This image was in my stack of images that I am working to use up by the end of 2021. I am getting a head start on coloring them and as I see challenges that they work I grab them for cards.
I colored this with pencils and layered. Finished off with buttons and the sentiment.
Harvest Blessings
MIX397 - In the Wild
USEIT2020 - HFC Kit
I saw today's MIX challenge and grabbed another Heartfelt Creations card kit that I am trying to get used up by the end of the year. I colored the images with copics and shaped. Then added dimensionals and layered. I finished off with stickles.

Berry Special
WT808 - Day Off Activity
USEIT2020 - Basket Embossed Paper
This great image was already stamped in my pile of images and was perfect for the challenge. I colored it with copics and popped up on Dimensionals.
Then as I was getting ready to layer I saw I had this basket weave in my tote of items to use. It was perfect paired with the image. I added some red ribbon and some punched hearts.

Fishing Anyone
MMTPT632 - Make it pop
USEIT2020 - Arrows
Stamped the tree and deer and put down a circle for the sun. Sponged 2 yellows and orange to get the sun effect. Cut the DPs and layered. Finished with the arrow and novo drops.
CAS601 - Teacher Appreciation - anything with a teacher, school, book type theme.
Die cut the congratulations and the graduates out of the same paper glued down. Used some large stars from my sticker collection to add some bling to the cards.

FS708 - This weeks wonderfully talented featured stamper is Mary Bush aka MaryEB.
I had grabbed an image in mind before the site went down and all I could remember was purple trees. So my card has purple and a tree branch. It was this CARD.
I heat embossed the webs on the base purple layer. I sponged the clouds and stamped the grave headstones and tree branch. Then I colored the tree branch with copics. I finished off with the sentiment.

Hey there, Lisa. I apologize for not being around, but DTGD kept me very busy, of course so did my mom, family, and friends. I always say People before Paper, but I kept wanting to get all of the challenges done. Anyway, miraculously, I did it. Now, I have to catch up on all things, especially commenting!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your cards. I have missed so many, but I'm sure I will run across them on SCS too. Looking at your cards this week, I saw a stamp set that I have and it has been put away for some time. It is time I use it again. I love it. I think it is called Noble Deer. I love your background and sun. Lovely card. I also like the way you added a bit of pink on your clouds. It really makes the clouds come alive. And I also like how you add your embellishments. I sometimes wonder about adding them or not. I have a ton of buttons and even some of those wooden arrows. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration! Thanks for hosting DTGD too.
Oh yes DTGD kept me busy as well. It was so much fun and there are some amazing cards in that gallery too. Yes Noble Deer is a great set. I only got that set in the last year and love it. It is great for masculine or outdoorsy cards. When I made that card I made 2 one to send and one to put in my stash. I am thinking of making a few more to build up my stash and finish using the little arrows that are in my tote.
DeleteI love adding a couple of colors to clouds. It adds more depth to them and adds more color to the scene to give it more interest on a card.
I add embellishments to as many cards as I can because I have a bunch and feel if I am going to have them need to use them up because I keep buying them. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
