Week of 2/24/18 cards

FS576 - Susy, better known as Boss where I found this card.

I used 4 different papers and die cut them and glued them down. Finished them off with some punched holly leaves for some Christmas cards flowers and some leaves that were cut out of book paper and sponged.

My MIL will love these, she is a quilter and I always love giving her quilt cards she can send to her friends.

CAS469 - Background Stamps

WT675 - Kissing Technique

USEIT2018 - Used up this stamped image from 3 years ago and the BG from this past weeks WTUI.

Used the leftover piece of Kissing Technique that was from the harlequin stamp as my background from the WTUI challenge this past week as I am trying to use stuff up for my 2018 goal. :)

This birthday cake image was stamped 3 years ago when I started back to crafting and it sat uncolored for 3 years. Colored it up with pencils and it was perfect for this BG.

TLC678 - Stained Glass

USEIT2018 - Used up the sentiment from a RACK that was sent to me over a year ago.

Used a ruler to draw the lines and colored with copics.

My 2018 goal is to use stuff up. This sentiment was sent to me in a RAK and it was perfect for the colors on this card. Cut it down and added to the card. :)

MMTPT500 - Its our 500th tea party and we are deciding who will get our cards. My card is going to my little sister. I chose this image because she use to have a beetle bug many years ago. Her birthday is coming up and this sentiment just got me laughing and I hope it will give her a huge smile.

Stamped the beetle bug from Heartfelt Creations and colored with copics. Die cut the two layers for the frame and stamped the sentiment. Popped the top layer on dimensionals and added the beetle bug on dimensionals. Finished off with some flowers, leaves and Nuvo Drops.

Copics used:

SC685 This week's sketch

DD9ABC1A - Alizarin

CCC18Dec - Anything Goes

Stamped the Pink and Main image and colored with copics added stickles to the peppermint in the drink. Embossed the circle layer with the coffee EF. Stamped and masked the peppermint layer and stamped the sentiment. Finished off with gems.

Copics used:

WT676 - shake it up, baby

The horse is a free online coloring book image. Colored with pencils and fussy cut. Created the shaker card and filled with star sequins. The layer on the bottom is a star DPs.

This card is for my great baby niece who is 4. Her mom asked me for a horse birthday card and well I decided her horse needed rainbow hair. LOL! Then I had to get permission to do a shaker because I just thought this sweet horse needed to be a shaker card.

The VSN challenges are going on at Splitcoast Stampers. There will be a drawing at the end of VSN next month. We hope you come join the fun.

MAR18VSNMINI1 - add some type of "compost" to your card.

F4A418 - the wrap on the coffee cup is cut from a beer carrier box.

Stamped the sentiment, die cut the brown & white layer, embossed the coffee cups from TH, created the shaker with coffee, die cut the coffee cup and used old cardboard on the coffee cup.

MAR18VSNMINI2 - Challenge to you is to use an image that shows flowers in some sort of container.

USEIT2018 - This stamped image was sent to me 2 years ago and it is finally getting put on a card.

Colored the image with pencils and mounted on pink & 2 DPs. Die cut the sentiment that was also sent to me and mounted on dimensionals.

MAR18VSNMINI3 - This challenge will focus on any bug or insect you choose!

Stamped the sentiment and a few ants from Pink and Main. Cut the DPs and layered a black strip.

IC638 - Antique Farmhouse is the inspiration and I just love the simple black and white in these curtains.

I needed a couple sympathy cards and the black and white was just so striking. I kept everything black and white. Used up some ribbon and butterflies in my stash as well as a black label that needed to be used so I could stick with my goal for 2018 to use stuff up.
