WT645 challenge - Score!
This Darcie EF panel was sent to me and I thought this would be a great way to use it without covering up the great flowers to really show them off. Cut it down and trimmed in a pink paper. Trimmed the bottom of the panel with a punched lace border and then added score lines to the top and bottom. Added some ribbon from my stash and finished off with the wonderful sentiment from Penny Black.

Christmas Package
CC644 challenge - This weeks colors, whisper white, cherry cobbler, garden green
CCC17MAY - Ink up something new
This card was created with the scrap die cut border as the starting point. You ask why...well it was cut and did not fit on a previous card correctly and too pretty to toss. I thought the fun skirt on this Stampin Bella worked great for the die cut.
Stamped the image colored with copics layered the red layer and added the die cut piece. Again using up stuff in my craft room I added the die cut holly and berries sent to me from Jan (Precious Kitty).

IC606 challenge - I love Jennifer McGuire and love her wonderful videos to show how to do new techniques or great card ideas. This VIDEO with the distress oxides shows some great water stamping ideas with the distress oxides. I encourage you to watch to the end to see all the wonderful ideas. At the end of the video is this technique using black card stock and the distress oxide. Using the wonderful Swallowtail stamp from SU and the distress oxide I did the same technique Jennifer did at the end of the video. Once the image was complete I finished off with some Dew Drops and Gems and popped the sentiment on dimensionals. |
Lawn Ranger
WT644 challenge - Wanna Help me Paint a Fence
Stamped the Lawn Ranger and colored with pencils & Gamsol. Fussy cut the image and shaped. Die cut the fence, grass, squirrels and tag for the sentiment. Sponged in clouds and layered the scene.
This is another of the fun cards that my aunt asked me to make my uncle for next year. She wanted a John Deere and I thought it would be fun to color the tractor and his hat in John Deere colors.
