MMTPT871 - Rosy Birthday
For my card, I pulled out this gorgeous blue rose paper that I only have scraps left. I am using every piece of this paper because I really love it. I cut down the pieces and created a herringbone background on a blue card stock. It is then layered on a white cardstock, and I added the blue and white bakers' twine.
The card is finished with this great sentiment from Stampin Up and a few scattered gems.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

Have to agree on the DP, so lovely and such effective use of the snippets creating the herringbone design, it's a real eye catcher.

I can see why you would want to use every scrap of this lovely paper, such a pretty way of using it, and like the twine with it too!
ReplyDeleteWow Lisa, this is just gorgeous! It looks like porcelain! Love the bits of scraps using this fun technique...one of my faves along with the pretty blue floral pattern too! Sorry for my lateness, I've been super busy and now just trying to catch up! Crafty hugs
