Week of 9/28/19 cards

FS659 - the super talented Jan aka JanTInk is today's Featured Stamper. I found this great Card.

I loved the heart shape on Jan's card and immediately thought of the heart shape in the bleeding hearts set from Heartfelt Creations.

I am trying to use up the old card kits I have from Heartfelt Creations as they are no longer available. This is a very old kit. They came stamped and cut you just needed to color, shape and mount.

Colored the flowers, sponged the edges of the layers and layered. Popped the flowers and sentiment on dimensionals and added stickles to the flowers.

Congratulations
 CAS552 - Candles

Stamped the candles and colored with copics. Fussy cut the candles and popped on dimensionals. Added an emboss BG and finished off with gems and stickles.

Happy Birthday
MMTPT583 - Buzzing in to a New Year

This card started out with me trying to use up the card base with the masked and stamped leaves. I created it months ago and the card idea I had did not work as planned so I needed to use up that base.

Masked the center of the card and stamped Heartfelt creations leaves. Sponged yellow through honey comb stencil and cut the layer down to fit under the leaves. Stamped the bee image and colored with copics. Fussy cut the bee image. Stamped and cut the flowers, leaves and lady bug and shaped. Finished off with nuvo drops and stickles.

Cute as a bug
 WT759 - What's in Your Pocket

Stamped the pocked image on blue paper, die cut, sponged the edge and ran through an emboss folder.

Used DP for the base and cut the center popping the edge on dimensionals. Stamped and cut the sunflowers & leaves, colored and layered. Finished the flowers off with stickles and prills.

Finished the card off with the ticket sentiment and a button.

Sunshine
IC721 - Flags on a Stick, I found this fun Flag.

I am trying to complete the Heartfelt Creations card kits I have in my stash since they no longer sell them. I layered the papers and colored the frogs and lily pad. Colored and shaped the flowers and finished off with stickles and prills.

Toadally Awesome

  1. You coloring and shading of those sunflowers on the Sunshine card is gorgeous! My eyes just kept coming back to that particular card. TFS!

    1. Thank you so much Aracelli. Those sunflowers are made with 4 different inks to get the flower shading. There is pale yellow, bright yellow, brown and coral. They are my favorite to make.
